The hotel whilst comfortable was a little dated in appearance. There was however a friendly atmosphere and the staff were courteous and helpful. The room was warm and cosy but the headboard on the bed had collapsed and I noticed a large crack in the toilet bowl. There were plenty of towels; tea and coffee and a small TV in... More

I visited this hotel for dinner against my better judgment because they offered a 25% discount if I used my Gourmet Card. I had chicken with some watery rice; the promised vegetables failed to materialise. The poor waiter had to double up as a receptionist and made such a hash of my bill, even after two attempts, that it was... More

With the comnents it has you dont need to say much more. For me the worst is that they dont have wifi on the rooms...thats terrible for travelers. The place is just for a short stay, working people. Never for a romantic travel (although could be perfect for a secret non official relatiobship). Not good for executives but correct for... More

This hotel needs attention to everything. would not advise anybody to stay here. The decor is like going back to the 80,s worn carpet on stairs and different colours out dated furniture in bedroom damaged door frames ,ceiling tiles broken in restaurant, the bed was well past its use. The television was small and the Wi.fi signal was very poor.could... More

We had the Honeymoon Suite for two nights, which has a jacuzzi and a four poster bed. The mattress of the bed was quite tired on one side but the sea air helped us sleep. Breakfast was excellent, the sausages and black pudding in particular were very good. The hotel's location is great for the beach and arcades, but is... More

Stayed for only one night but the room was clean, top floor shower was poor and breakfast was overpriced for what you got. The morning reception staff were poor and slow, 45 mins from asking for my bill and getting breakfast. You get what you pay for in this tired hotel, cheap and not so cheerful.

just returned from a short break at Felixstowe which I must say is fabulous. We stayed at the Marlborough hotel on the seafront. The room was dirty with stained carpets dusty grubby sideboards etc. In the evening we went to the restaurant and was told we had to pay 15.95 for a three course meal unfortunately nothing on menu was... Upon arrival at the Marlborough, my partner and I were somewhat perturbed at finding a decent establishment. After reading reviews, we were convinced we would find incontinent tramps adorning the entrance, spraying us with urine. This was not to be. All we found was plentiful parking, pleasant staff, a stones throw from the very clean beach. There were few other... More
