Spent lovely night here. Sorry to find out it is closing as I wanted to book another stay. Twin room on ground floor was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was good and hot when it arrived. A plentiful supply of cereal and toast. Thank you to Linda for a very warm welcome.

This is low cost accomodation, you don't pay a lot to stop here and you get a good breakfast, what you don't get is a good nights sleep - this is the worst mattress ive ever tried to sleep on, it was so bad I placed the pillows under the mattress for support. The room was warm, was equipped with... More

First of all I should say that I generally like either modern or historical properties but we needed to stay somewhere to Fort Languard and this was perfectly suited as a location. When we arrived the door was already open due to a smoker outside and we then stood in a very cramped area wondering what to do. We knocked... More

Nice place in a nice location, right near the beach. The staff were really friendly, chatty and helpful. The diner area where breakfast was served was nice, clean and airy. The breakfast was nice with lots of options, including for a veggie like me. The downside for me was the complete lack of sleep. The room was comfortable with a... More

I just stayed for one night, which I feel very unlucky. This place had quite nice room facility and beautiful view from the window. On the top, breakfast was really satisfactory :) Linda and Clive are really warmhearted. I want to visit here again! Not a perfect modern guesthouse, but still worth my time and money.

This is a nice place to stay. Breakfast is lovely. Staff are warm and friendly. The rooms are clean and quite well equipped. Tea and coffee and kettle in the rooms. Two downsides here though. No onsite parking, you may have to park a little way off, and we had to keep the window closed due to the noise outside.... More

Took my mother to visit her brother in Felixstowe and needed somewhere dog friendly to stay. A quick internet search found Dorincourt Guesthouse. A phone call later and twin Room 9 was booked. On arrival we were greeted well and show to our room, being an attic room on the second floor, with a separate toilet/shower room on the landing.... More

Found it dated, and very depressing, room was small, not clean enough (down the side of the bed was dirty and hadnt been hovered ) Was left a menu to fill out for breakfast, didnt bother, lucky for me as the breakfast other guests were eating looked greasy and horrid. You get what you pay for! this place is just... More

as soon as you ring the bell, you know this little gem of a bed and breakfast guest house is a home from home. Linda opened the door with a beaming smile and a quick check in, showed me to my room, it had tea and coffee facilities, flat sreen tv,dvd, a shower(good powerful one) hand basin, all that you require,...
