Booked two nights last minute, walked in and asked. Luckily, they had a family room free for the Saturday and Sunday of the Bank Holiday. Location couldn't be more central, (opposite the pier) but very quiet. On street parking is near and free - fine to pavement park outside to drop off and pick up. I can see what another... More

Used Trip Advisor to decide wether to use Dorrin Court for a weeks stay Saturday to Saturday from 10th August to 17th August. I wish we hadn't, we arrived just as the Local Annual Street parade started at 2pm. We were met my Clive the owner who was very polite and helpful, assisting us with carrying our bags to room... This was our first visit to Dorincourt. Although we arrived earlier than arranged the keys were ready and we received a warm welcome from Linda and Clive. The room was lovely with a comfortable bed and a powerful shower. There were plenty of choices for breakfast so it was nice to have a change each day. The location was excellent... More

If you are looking to stay at Felixstowe be sure to check out Dorincourt it's beautiful and the people who run it are fantastic very friendly people. It's so relaxing and right opposite the beach. I stayed here 2 nights for a show at the Spa pavilion which is around a 5 minute walk. I would highly recommend this hotel.... More

Absolutely horrendous service and care. Two light bulbs not working so we get 2 bulbs shoved on the counter and we are asked to fit them!!! The owners were scruffy and uncaring. I really hope there are new owners now.

Linda and Clive are great hosts and the bed linen and towels are Marriott standard, but please, do something about the beds.. All the facilities found in a hotel were there: flannels, shower gel, shower cap, tissues, tea and coffee and little fridge etc., but beds were hard. We thought it may have been because we have a memory foam... More
