5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 days ago NEW

We have eaten several times at The Bell since it got taken over a couple of months ago by the new landlords Paul and Clare. They have restored this pub to its former glory both in terms of ambience, food and beer. Fabulous food choices with Specials menu changing twice a day. Great value for money and industry experienced professionals... More

Sunday roasts here are always exceptional, well worth taking the trouble to find this pub. Roast beef, yorkshire pud and gravy are all very good. Good old fashioned home-cooked food. And lovely to have the veg separate. Good atmosphere, ambience, cosy sofa's, wood fires, friendly hosts. We would highly recommend a visit.

We have just spent a great weekend at the Cretingham Bell which had atmospheric character in comfortable surroundings. Our host Charles and Sarah were a pleasure to be with and made the weekend fun. The food Charles served was exceptional and great value. My aunt who is celiac and can only eat gluten free food found that Charles could adapt... More

We were tootling around today, from Ipswich heading towards Framlingham on back roads, and we came across The Cretingham Bell. What a happy accident. The pub looked lovely, a big lawn at the front with just a few benches and tables; lots of space between, and a huge car park. It looked so lovely in the sunshine that we stopped... More

We stayed here by virtue of voucher for dinner, bed and breakfast. Our stay started with a lovely greeting from the hosts and it all went on from there. We were in room 1 - a good sized room, pleasantly decorated with oak beams and facings. The roof line is quite low so anyone above 6ft.1.in will have to be... More

Visited here with a voucher that included a nights b & b and a 3 course meal with wine. By no means is the qaulity of service, food or welcome reduced because of the fact you have a voucher. A very warm welcome and an equally warm large room (room 1) was much appreciated on a cold day, the room... More
