An impressive driveway leads you to a very old and handsome building. The grounds are very nice and the main house elegant. We stayed in the coach house and although very quaint found the bathroom rather shoddy needing a makeover and the upstairs to the coachhouse where two single beds were, having a beam running through it, quaint but not... more

All of our rooms are individual and we understand that our guest’s likes and needs are too. An amazing building, amazing grounds, and good staff. That being said we were there for a wedding party and had the place mostly booked out, so I saw most of the rooms. The roll away beds were falling apart for everyone, the tub was stained green, and the bed was more of a billiards table with a sheet on top.... more

Can't speak highly enough about this hotel. We booked through Booking.com at an extremely low rate. On arrival we were upgraded to the Bridal Suite (been married 20 years). What a magnificent room with such a splendid view of the gardens. Room spacious, clean and well decorated. Had the best night sleep in ages in the large four poster bed.... more

We stayed, along with a number of friends, for a long weekend. We all got the room at an amazing rate, I dare not publish it it was that cheap. And for that we got a wonderful room (15) which was approx 25ft sq, so big that the television was too small to view when in bed! Lovely clean bathroom,... more

I feel very sorry for "Don't stay" of 12/1/09. They must have stayed at another hotel to one we stayed at. Staff where great, freindly, polite but very professional. Couldn't recommend this hotel too highly enough. Would love to go back. more

We were staying for 2 nights during my son's wedding to Emma. The room we felt needed a bit of a "refurb."Do NOT go near the radiator in the bathroom unless you want to get burnt! But the Wedding preparation, content and particularly the service provided by the staff was Excellent !! Jackie and Clare need a mention. Douglas(the Manager) was Superb.... more

Booked online at short notice for a 2-day break, B&B. Hotel is a former rectory with parts dating back to mediaeval times. Perhaps a bit like faded grandeur? Spacious grounds, also a little unkempt. Very narrow entrance road from the A140; use rear entrance from road to Brome Church. Plenty of space for parking and walking. Excellent room, excellent value... more

We had a lovely room with views over the garden, spacious and clean, the restaurant made us welcome even though we arrived just before closing, a perfect meal. The only downside was the 18th Birthday booked in the function room to the restaurant, as the noise was a bit off putting, as we did not expect that type of event... more

We chose this hotel for a night away as it was far enough to feel like a real break but near enough so we weren't driving all day to get there, and we weren't disappointed. Our room was full of character & charm not to mention a four poster & beams. It's quite a quirky hotel as you can see... more

We chose this for a night away and were not disappointed. We had a large room which was very pleasant and a view of the garden but it did need some refurbishment. Chairs were very tired, bathroom rather outdated and bed cover appeared a bit tatty, however overall the room was clean, tidy and comfortable. We did later discover that... more
