We arrived to a friendly welcome from the owner, Linda, and delicious home made cakes and tea in the pretty garden. What a start. Our room was comfy and clean and the bathroom was almost as big as the bedroom! We booked our 2-day stay at Cleat house by telephone after viewing their website. Our stay began with tea and home made cakes in the garden followed by some helpful advise on local events and places to see. We stayed at Cleat house last November with two friends. The welcome from Linda was warm and friendly and the tea and cakes served on arrival were a lovely surprise. The rooms were extremely comfortable and the breakfast excellent. We were due to stay at another B&B in the area but were 'moved on' because the owner had double booked.... more
