The travelling conditions were absolutely awful so we ended up arriving at Cleat house really late in the day. We telephoned Rob and Linda to warn them and so when we arrived they were ready for us and even brought us tea and coffee despite the late hour! We had been booked into the Kelling room which is right at... More

This is our second visit to Cleat House and we were once again welcomed with a lovely pot of tea and newly baked scones with jam and cream. Our room was comfortable and clean with a huge bathroom. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and plentiful. Nothing was too much trouble for Linda and Rob, our lovely hosts.

Ralph Vaughan Williams stayed at Martincross, an elegant house on the Boulevard in Sheringham in 1919, while working on his Pastoral Symphony. Maybe, while strolling in an afternoon, seeking inspiration, he walked round the corner into Montague Road; if so, he will have passed the then newish villa which is now known as Cleat House. A modern composer, looking for... More

We stayed here for 3 nights recently while visiting family. Cleat House is in a quiet road, yet is close to shops, restaurants and the sea. Other guests have commented on the delicious cream tea on arrival. It certainly revived us after a long journey. The guest sitting room with fridge, honesty bar and lots of DVDs was a thoughtful... My wife and I, and friends David & Linda stayed at the Cleat House for two nights early April 2014 and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Rob & Linda ( a lovely, friendly couple), who provided us with coffee, tea and lovely scones, cream & jam. The rooms are very spacious, well furnished,... More

We stayed at Clete House for 3 nights late August/Early Sept 2013 and had a lovely stay. Friends joined us from Devon and we all enjoyed a delicious homemade cream tea on arrival in the garden. Rob and Linda are excellent hosts and were very informative in terms of places to eat etc. The rooms were immaculate and very well... More

As advertised this truly is a luxury B&B. Our room was big and comfortable. Our hosts, Linda & Rob were friendly and informative. Breakfast was delicious and varied. The location was quiet, yet close to the seaside and dining. We enjoyed a delightful stay and would happily return again.

Linda and Rob are excellent hosts, their property is 5 star. I would recommend this to anyone who is likely to want to stay in quality accommodation and enjoy a first class breakfast in peaceful surrounding. The little extras that are noted by other reviewers, are the icing on the cake.

Had a fantastic stay at Cleat House. Cleat House offered contemporary accommodation with a touch of character. On arriving, Linda and Rob greeted us warmly offering us both cream teas. Following this Rob showed us to our room and explained where to find everything. The towels were white and fluffy, everything was like new. The small touches such as chocolates... More
