The owner is very friendly and welcoming and the rooms and service were excellent. The location is quiet but only a 15 minute walk from the town and seafront and has ample parking for guests. We would highly recommend this B&B.

We were greeted personally upon arrival and everything was explained to us as expected. Shown to our rooms and then brought a nice cup of tea!! That was a very nice welcome. Beautiful room, very quiet resulting in sleeping like a log!! Would highly recommend a stay at Sunrays.

We weren't sure when we got there that we made a big mistake although we felt that we should have gone to Hurray Henrys instead. How wrong we were, we were made to feel very welcome and we will be returning. The breakfast was so much better than Hurray Henrys - that's why we refused to go there again.

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights in September 2014. On arrival we were made to feel awkward as we couldn't rouse an answer at the front door and when someone did come out, we were told that we hadn't made enough noise getting out of the car and so had not been heard even though we... Staying with Elaine was a pleasure. *Her breakfast are outstanding, you must try her homemade compote and granola and to find fish on a breakfast menu was great. *We stayed in the garden room, which was pleasant and warm with a very comfortable bed and pillows. *Sunrays is a 20 minute pleasant walk down hill to the town and beach.... We have stayed for 2 nights this week at Sunrays, from arrival Elaine was welcoming. We chose the Graden Room which I would thoroughly recommend as it is on the ground floor at the back of the house and has patip doors that open onto its own little patio with a table and chairs. The room itself was clean and... More

Made to feel very welcome by Elaine on arrival. The Garden Room at the back was a lovely room and very quiet own patio table and chairs. The breakfasts fantastic and only cooked when you arrive in the breakfast room. I can recommend the smoked haddock and eggs as well as the Salmon and scrambled egg. We stayed a week... More

We stayed at Sunrays for just one night in the King Room. It was excellent. The room was clean and airy and very cosy. All that we could wish for. Elaine was very helpful in recommending Restaurants for our evening meal. It was just a 10 min walk into the town. The breakfast was also excellent - every need catered... More
