Made to feel very welcome by Elaine on arrival. The Garden Room at the back was a lovely room and very quiet own patio table and chairs. The breakfasts fantastic and only cooked when you arrive in the breakfast room. I can recommend the smoked haddock and eggs as well as the Salmon and scrambled egg. We stayed a week... More

We stayed at Sunrays for just one night in the King Room. It was excellent. The room was clean and airy and very cosy. All that we could wish for. Elaine was very helpful in recommending Restaurants for our evening meal. It was just a 10 min walk into the town. The breakfast was also excellent - every need catered... More

We stayed five nights in the Two Pines room which is attached to the side of the main house. Although (and this is a very personal opinion) the bed was a little on the hard side, the room was otherwise very comfortable and included everything that would be expected of this quality of B&B. Breakfast was excellent and kept us... More

Thanking Elaine for a nice stay in her beautiful home. Arriving at the end of Peddars Way and The Norfolk Coastal Path it was lovely to be made to feel so welcome. The house is in a very quiet area about 15 minutes walk from the sea front and it's pleasant architecture impresses as you arrive. My room was in... More

We had never been to Sheringham before and just took a chance on Sunrays. We are glad we did, Elaine is lovely and the room very clean and fresh. The bed was so comfortable we had a great nights sleep and the breakfast was delicious with homemade muesli and compote and the full English cooked to perfection. As Sheringham is... More

We've stayed in a total of four B&Bs in Sheringham over the last 7 years and Sunrays has been the best by quite a wide margin. We spent two nights in one of the rooms in the house which proved very comfortable with fresh looking décor. As others have mentioned, the breakfast is fantastic with plenty of choice available. Elaine... More

We experienced a very high standard of hospitality with delicious breakfasts, comfortable accommodation, lovely gardens and a wonderful situation a short walk from the town and the beach. It was at least our fourth visit as it is always such a pleasure to stay here and receive a warm welcome.

We have just returned from another enjoyable stay at SUNRAYS. We were attending the 1940s weekend in Sheringham, and Sunrays is ideally situated very close to the railway station, only 10mins walk, but just far enough away in a quiet peaceful road. We were very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent and really set you up for the day ahead.... More

We styled here for 2 nights to explore the local area. It's easy to find, situated on a quiet street, although there isn't a B&B sign so you can easily drive past it. It's about a 10 minute walk to the steam train station and the town centre. There is off road parking which is handy. We stayed in the... More

We have just returned from our fourth visit in the last two years. As always the room was spotless & well appointed with a comfy bed. Elaine is a great host & a fabulous cook. Breakfast is unbeaten with a tremendous selection to choose from. This a home from home with the added benefit of two spaniels who are well... More
