We stayed here for one night (family room £130) this week with our 2 year old. Very welcoming and attentive staff as has been said here but it's true! Our son was made welcome and a travel cot was provided. The room was a little dated but the bed was superb, clean and very comfortable as was the room !... More

The Beaumaris hotel is in a residential area of Sheringham so don't expect a seaview or the rolling hills of England from your bedroom, our room overlooked two sheds and the car park. The positives were the friendly helpful staff in the dining room thebreakfast was good. The dinner I would say was average the"Asparagus " and "The Country Vegetable Soup" tasted like... Family run. Owners are very attentive and service superb. We haven't stayed here but eat here whenever we're in sheringham. The restaurant is old fashioned and caters for it's known clientele. The food is always very good and I'd recommend eating here. Can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay.

Always attentive, welcoming and friendly service. Spotless rooms and ideal for the beach. In a quiet part of town but close enough to reach all the essential shops and amenities. Ideal for a weekend break.

I stayed at the hotel for business. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. I was upgraded to a double room as they had the space and the room was very light, clean and modern. It was five minutes, if that, to the sea. All in all very good value and a good night's sleep.

The Beaumaris is an old-fashioned family run hotel in Sheringham, Norfolk. It was comfortable, friendly and very relaxing. The room was very clean and beds were good standard. Breakfast was as good as I have ever seen (and I travel a lot). Views of the steam railway from the breakfast room were trumped by a deer coming through the pine... More

I live in Sheringham so have never stayed at the Beaumaris but over a number of years this has become both my wife's and my favourite eating place in the town. The consistently high standard of food at reasonable prices with good friendly service has made special occasions, such as birthdays wedding anniversaries etc., memorable events. My late mother-in-law found... More

Really nicely family run hotel, the staff were really easy to talk to and very aproachable. Plenty of on hand information of places to visit. Really well situated with the beach, town centre and railway within a couple of minutes walking time. The meals were of a very good quality. The rooms are very quaint with tea making facilities available.

Yet another visit to the Beaumaris Hotel, this is a family run Hotel in Sherringham, it is still up to the same good standard, and if you are looking for "Good Old Fashoined Service" from polite Staff and Owners then this is a must!!!. The meals are of a very high standard, and the decor in the dinning room has... More

Stayed for the second time, and this time had dinner, bed & breakfast. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Food was excellent and portion sizes were generous. Service was good and genuinely nothing seemed to much trouble. The couple who run it put themselves out to to help and are warm and friendly. The hotel seems to be a 1950's/1960/s time... More
