Stayed here for one night before going to a family event. Very good price. We arrived late after the kitchen had closed but the very friendly receptionist made us sandwiches which went down well with a beer from the bar. She also put us it a higher category room. It not a modern hotel but you forgive the fact that... More

We had booked Broom Hall for our wedding venue for the beginning of August 2014, and have had regular contact with the the Hotel from last year when we initially chose the location. From that time ,we have been overwhelmed by the help and assistance by all the management and staff ,to ensure our wedding was a day to remember.... More

I stayed for 1 night whilst working locally. The hotel was nice and quiet and in a nice rural location, all the staff were great - very friendly. My room was in a building away from the man hotel and I found it to be a little dated but adequate for a 1 night break. I ate in the hotel... More

I stayed at the Broom Hall Country Hotel in June 2014 for an overnight business trip. Although a bit of the beaten track, the quietness of the surroundings was enjoyable and it did feel like a country retreat. If on business like I was the hotel offers free wi-fi which was handy. The room was old fashioned but I wouldn't... More

Broom Hall has become a regular place for us to eat lunch, and indulge in an afternoon tea for birthday treats. I think the teas are good value for money, not a huge amount but a plentiful sufficiency with more tea or coffee available ! The hotel staff are friendly and efficient. Haven't stayed overnight but the rooms look comfortable.... More

I purchased an afternoon tea voucher for my Auntie's birthday and requested that the sandwiches were on brown or granary bread, half of them came out on white bread. Only three small triangle sandwiches each - not even equalling two slices of bread each. Only half a scone each, although fairly filling. The afternoon tea was presented nicely on a... More

This is a lovely historic mansion house and nice to arrive to. I was embarking on my latest National Trail Peddars Way, and have found hotels can be a bit shocked when they see such a new guest arrive dishevelled and wet, but not here where the reception staff were most welcoming. Throughout the staff were friendly and personable which... More

Stayed here during September 2013 whilst working away from home on business. Service is very friendly. Food is ok. Rooms are spacious, but a bit dated. Swimming pool is small but a good depth. It is a great location and ideal for a business stay.
