Stayed overnight on Travelzoo offer. Comfortable room with stunning bathroom. Highlight was the table d'hote menu on Saturday evening. Memorable food with everything absolutely delicious. Cannot praise too highly. It was a real occasion.

Lovely experience. The friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever known. Old fashioned courtesy and service. As well as remembering details like how you like your drinks they seemed to be able to anticipate your needs. From the start a staff member came to greet us as we parked, carried the luggage and made us feel welcome. On leaving... More

What a marvellous greeting! Three members of staff came out to the car park to greet us and carry our cases into the hotel. Once we had checked in we were shown the main parts of the hotel. The hotel is nicely furnished with period cosy furniture . Our room was very good, it had double opening doors to the... More

We went with friends for just one night's escape - and what a mistake! This hotel is amazing. From the moment you arrive the staff could not be more helpful. It is faultless - and it's not often you can say that. Cleanliness is clearly paramount. The staff are delightful. The food is amazing and the rooms are sumptuous. There... More

This was our second visit to this lovely hotel. We had a lovely Garden room with a huge four poster bed, separate sitting area with sofa and chair and French doors out to the wonderful garden. The bathroom was also large with a large walk in shower and free standing bath everything you needed was provided. If the room wasn't... More

Our second stay at this beautiful small hotel, we had visited early in the year to see the seals and promised ourselves we would come back in the summer. We had a 4 poster bed both times, worth the extra so luxurious, make the break feel really special. We enjoyed drinks in the garden, even though the weather wasn't as... More

The attention to detail is first class, Chocolate bunnies in our room over Easter, tea and cakes upon arrival and the hosts well they are truly amazing people. The Beechwood is a non-chain boutique hotel and restaurant. Many locals come in just to use the restaurant run by the excellent Stephen Norgate who really believes in providing great local produce. The owners could not be more friendly and helpful staff are all courteous and polite, the gardens are beautiful and the rooms are all splendid and well appointed.... More

We visited Norfolk to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. Naturally we wanted the trip to be perfect. Well Lindsay and Don ensured that our stay was indeed perfect. Everything about this hotel excels from the warm welcome to the wonderful food. The staff go out of their way to make all guests feel special. And the rooms are fantastic and... More

We booked a nights stay at the Beechwood hotel through Secret Escapes. We managed to get lost in North Walsham on the way and had to ring the hotel for directions. They were extremely helpful and managed to sort us out quickly. On arrival we were told they were upgrading us to a garden room. That was a lovely surprise.... More
