We read Trip Advisor beforehand where rooms in the original building were recommended. Totally understandable that the dining area had to be extended - just a pity that the roof extends from just under the upstairs bedroom windows, somewhat spoiling the view of the gardens. More than made up for by the excellent food and fascinating choice of wines for... More

We have stayed at MH on several occasions over the last 4 years and it never fails to deliver. An amazing food experience: as a non meat eater I have to disagree with other reviews - the dishes are all thought through not simply the meat dishes without the meat. The fixed menu concept ensures that every night is different... More

The menu at Morston Hall changes everyday, and diners do not know what they will get until they arrive... Which could cause a level of nervousness. But the chef and the sommelier are so good that there is no need to worry. Celeriac has taken on a new meaning to me after tasting the wood fire roasted version. It was... More

We have just spent one night at Morston Hall and enjoyed a wonderful evening meal there. Having eaten at some of the best restaurants in the country, I can honestly say that I have not experienced any better food anywhere. The service was reasonable, but the sommelier was thrown in at the deep end on his second day as a... More

What an amazing place. My wife is gluten and corn free. Staff were hugely aware and respectful of the intolerances, and made sure we had a fabulous time at dinner. Rooms were perfect and breakfast was delicious. We cannot wait to return.

If you love Norfolk, food, wine, more food, great service, great accommodation and more outstanding food then book a night and meal at Morston Hall, you will not be disappointed. The food at Morston is second to none. Attention to detail and flavour is exceptional. The service given by all the waiting staff, and hotel staff, is also second to... More

I was in 2 minds whether to post a review about our stay in Mortson Hall in November because we had such a mixed experience but upon seeing other recent reviews I felt it was appropriate for me to do so. It was difficult to decide upon a final star rating and have given an only average rating due to... More

We stayed between Christmas and New Year for a relaxing family break with lots of fresh air. We certainly achieved this at this rural retreat close by salt marshes with good walking from the hotel. We took two rooms in the main house both were spacious and with good seating and bathrooms. Decor is traditional and slightly faded country house... More

A wonderful magical stay, where the staff are attentive and understanding to their guest. We were greeted and then left to enjoy a truly unique and unforgettable experience. Morston Hall is situated on the North Norfolk coast where the atmosphere and location enhances the mood and quality of the place. To set us up for dinner, we walked along the... More

We stayed here as a wedding anniversary treat, we read the reviews and were really looking forward to a great stay with some fantastic food, what a disappointment, the room was fine, but although they advertised wi Fi, the signal does not reach the annexe rooms, not good in these times. So we overlooked that and made our way to... More
