We were made to feel extremely welcome by Anna and Jane and nothing was too much trouble. Within a few hours we felt like family. As a vegetarian, I was never made to feel as though I was being awkward, which is not necessarily as common as you might expect. All food was home cooked, very tasty and excellently prepared.... more

Having stayed at some dreadful outdatated and lack lustre B & B's in Hunstanton, i was relieved to find a last, The Bays. The attention to detail and good old fashioned hospitality was indeed gratefully received and appreciated. Well done and keep up the good work! more

I would endorse the other comments, The Bays was excellent. We had the King Size room and couldn't fault it. Breakfast was excellent. Hospitality great. However this was our first (and last) time in Hunstanton. It really was a ghost town with very little to do. It didn't help when we parked in the Pay Car Park near the beach... more

We have been to many guest houses all over the country and not one of them was memorable enough to want to return, until our stay at the Bays. The Bays hospitality from the minute we walked in the door will have us returning again and again. Everything about it was faultless. Jane and Anna worked tirelessly to make our... more

I am trying very hard to find a negative thing about this gem of a place, give me a moment....................................................................................... There i've failed. From the minute you arrive to the minute you leave it is sheer bliss. The Girls are an absolute hoot and cannot do enough for you, when we arrived it was too late to order an evening meal so we... more

We really liked The Bays Guest House a lot. Anna and Jane were very accommodating, even on May Bank Holiday weekend, bringing another bed into the single to make it a twin.. The breakfast really was the best we had, with homemade jams, excellent sausages and bacon, and a choice of eggs different ways. And real coffee. And the charming... more

My parents and I have recently returned from a 2 night stay at The Bays. It was for a treat for my Mums impending 60th birthday and I had seen the pictures and previous reviews from Trip Advisor, which subsequently prompted me to book this particular place, and goodness I am so pleased, from the minute we entered The Bays... more

My wife and myself wished to show an Australian visitor some of Norfolk, and chose "The Bays" from an internet search. Anna & Jane can be justifiably proud with what they have achieved at "The Bays", and it certainly deserves the 5 star gold award. Everything was just perfect, the decor, facilities, cleanliness and the food. Our visitor was very... more

My wife and I wanted a couple of days break in Hunstanton over Easter. Many Trip Advisor entries suggested that the best place to stay in Hunstanton was at the Bays Guest House ( a five star tourist board rated establishment ) . It was simply magnificent and five stars simply does not do it justice. It really merits an... more

We used Trip Advisor to guide us to the best suited accommodation for our trip to Hunstanton and yet again it came up trumps! What a lovely guest house Anna and Jane have created. Even though we had Room 5, which we knew was not en-suite and therefore not ideal, we had to give it 5 stars as it was... more
