Just wanted to say this is a great place to stay and eat. The food is stunning and quite simply fantastic. A really great way to celebrate a special occasion. Thank you for the food and hospitality Sue & Gary

We have been here twice in just over a year. On the first occasion we had the tasting menu and on 3 days ago the a la carte menu. On both occasions the food was excellent. The Neptune is smaller and more intimate and much less intimidating than most post restaurants and it is nice that Kevin and his wife... More

The food was truly delightful (best dauphinoise I've ever tasted), with a seasonal menu from local produce, great wine list too at reasonable prices. The room was cosy and décor was contemporary with funky touches. The bed was heavenly! The service was very friendly and personal, really lovely, hard working couple. The breakfast was magnificent! Great location too, a five... More

We have used this restaurant since it opened & have watched it grow from an unloved local restaurant to a truly fantastic destination restaurant. Every course is heavenly I wish all restaurants could be like this!

We visit many restaurants around the UK, searching for the best we can find. The Neptune Inn is our favourite. Magnificent food, great unpretentious service, comfortable rooms, close to some of the best countryside. We are looking forward to our next visit.

This was my second visit to Norfolk - the previous visit was in August and included a very disappointing stay at The Hoste where the service and the food were well below par. The Neptune offered the complete opposite, I am happy to say! Kevin and Jacky were fantastic hosts, and the food was exceptional. I wasn't sure what to... More

My wife and I, on a tour of East Anglia, rolled up at the Neptune around four p.m. No signs of life! We rang the the bell and Kevin appeared. Obviously busy, he took our bags up to our room and, after a few words he, retreated to his kitchen. The room, or two rooms to be precise, was small... More

I visited The Neptune with my husband and two friends and we had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, our glasses were never empty and we truly had a lovely evening and a comfortable stay. Though the service was not quite as 'refined' as we would have expected of a Michelin starred restaurant (we were given... More

Visited the Neptune with my wife for my birthday. Having visited Morston Hall a few times which is also. Michelin starred restaurant we expected similar quality but sadly this was not to be. The whole experience was disappointing from the nibbles with the champagne right through to getting the bill. Presentation of the food was very good but the food... More

Kevin and Jacky made us feel so welcome. The menu was excellent and with my food intolerances, Kevin had already sorted out what I could and couldn't eat from the menu and made alternatives. The best bed and pillows in all of north Norfolk! Very small and intimate, friendly and not pretentious in any way for a one Michelin star... More
