We have used this restaurant since it opened & have watched it grow from an unloved local restaurant to a truly fantastic destination restaurant. Every course is heavenly I wish all restaurants could be like this!

We visit many restaurants around the UK, searching for the best we can find. The Neptune Inn is our favourite. Magnificent food, great unpretentious service, comfortable rooms, close to some of the best countryside. We are looking forward to our next visit.

This was my second visit to Norfolk - the previous visit was in August and included a very disappointing stay at The Hoste where the service and the food were well below par. The Neptune offered the complete opposite, I am happy to say! Kevin and Jacky were fantastic hosts, and the food was exceptional. I wasn't sure what to... More

My wife and I, on a tour of East Anglia, rolled up at the Neptune around four p.m. No signs of life! We rang the the bell and Kevin appeared. Obviously busy, he took our bags up to our room and, after a few words he, retreated to his kitchen. The room, or two rooms to be precise, was small... More

I visited The Neptune with my husband and two friends and we had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, our glasses were never empty and we truly had a lovely evening and a comfortable stay. Though the service was not quite as 'refined' as we would have expected of a Michelin starred restaurant (we were given... More

Visited the Neptune with my wife for my birthday. Having visited Morston Hall a few times which is also. Michelin starred restaurant we expected similar quality but sadly this was not to be. The whole experience was disappointing from the nibbles with the champagne right through to getting the bill. Presentation of the food was very good but the food... More

Kevin and Jacky made us feel so welcome. The menu was excellent and with my food intolerances, Kevin had already sorted out what I could and couldn't eat from the menu and made alternatives. The best bed and pillows in all of north Norfolk! Very small and intimate, friendly and not pretentious in any way for a one Michelin star... More

Me and my wife visited The Neptune Inn after being told how good it was by friends. We weren't disappointed. The food is exceptional and I struggle to find fault with anything. The restaurant is small with a max capacity of 24. The result is an intimate and relaxed experience. We where sat in the bay window when we arrived,... More

This was our first visit to celebrate my husband's special birthday treat whilst on holiday in Norfolk. We were made to feel welcomed by both Jackie and Kevin. They went out of their way to spend time with us which made the whole expereince very intimate. The food was outstanding and we look foward to our next visit when we... More

It isn't often we return to a place more than once as we always think that if you have a great time the first time, you can never repeat that experience. Not so with the Neptune Inn. We have visited three times now, winter and summer, and have never been disappointed. Jacki and Kevin, the owners, welcome their guests as... More
