We had one night bed breakfast and evening meal. the bedroom wasn't the biggest but very nice with all the things you need and a huge double bed which was so soft and comfortable we could have hibernated and stayed till spring but the highlight has to be the food. The menu is not huge with a choice of about... More

My better half booked the Neptune for my 50th birthday celebration. We had the evening meal and stayed the night with breakfast the following morning. The hosts were warm, friendly and very welcoming. All of the food was fantastic! I can highly recommend this as a great place to eat and stay.

I had heard a lot of wonderful things about the Neptune and I was not disappointed .We received a very warm welcome from Kevin,Jackie and their team and they made good recommendations for our food and accompanying wine. We opted for the Mouselline and Mackerel to start and the delicious Holkham beef to follow-all the dishes were prepared, cooked and served... More

All Michelin star establishments come with expectations, the Neptune inn is no different. The food overall is cooked very well, the chef doesn't attempt anything to daring here, playing it mostly safe. For this he gets an accolade. But considering the price you pay and the not-so-often chances to dine in an establishment such as this, one would something that... More

I went there twice in June once for Sunday lunch and again for dinner three weeks later. Both times the food was very good and the wine list interesting with good wines. This has a michelin star and the food was up to that level, some of the service fell short of that level though.

We visited with our teenager trying to expand her palate beyond the pot noodle and this restaurant doesn't disappoint. Every course was absolutely delicious. Tastes and textures perfectly balanced with great presentation. Service was friendly and discreet. Our teenager happily finished every course bar one courgette. Job done. Highly recommend!

Our second stay - if anything, better than the last time. Our room (although smallish and with a wonky floor) was clean, comfortable and very generously stocked. We had the tasting menu which overall was very good with at least 2 stand out dishes (the "tea" and the ceviche). Having eaten at the excellent Hand & Flowers 2 nights earlier... More

We enjoyed a pleasant meal at the Neptune recently. The hosts were very nice and the food beautifully presented. The food was nice but we felt there was no "wow factor" so far as the starter or main courses were concerned, which was a little disappointing given our high expectations based on reviews. Indeed, so far as mains were concerned... More

We wanted to stay somewhere on the North Norfolk coast with our friend from Australia. So pleased we picked this place. We were in room 4 which is not large, but has a big, soft, comfy bed. Smallish en suite with just a shower, no bath, but good water pressure. Nice amenities and tea/coffee etc. Our friend had room 5... More

My husband and I visit the Neptune Inn at least once a year. With our busy work load we need a place to unwind with good food, ambience and to feel welcome. The Neptune Inn offers all of this and more. Jacki and Kevin, work very hard to make your stay an enjoyable one. The food is fabulous, locally sourced... More
