Fine looking building in good location with excellent access to beach.
Staff friendly; common areas well maintained (considering age of bulding) and food choice, preparation and presentation good.
Unfortunately, sea air and age have taken their toll and the original building layout would not have been ideal for the creation of en-suite bedrooms. Consequently, based on my bedroom, bringing the accommodation up to the standard expected by today's demanding travellers would necessitate significant investment.
Nevertheless, the building exudes an air of nostalgic splendour which few modern hotels could dream of!
