Dropped in for a drink and to sus it out for dinner. Smelly like a mausoleum and totally dead. No atmosphere whatsoever and unbelievably overpriced for the drinks! Decided that we'd probably end up dining alone and in total silence so didn't bother. The Ship Inn 100 yds down the road is a riot of activity and the staff actually... More

Hotel has massive potential. Owner is very friendly and offers great service. The breakfast was excellent. However the rooms are in need of some TLC and the decor is trapped in the 80s. For the price it was great value.

You need to make a reservation in advance for dining in the Restaurant at the Maltings Hotel in Weybourne, and you will not be disappointed if you do. The Hotel is wonderful, steeped in history, and the bar area very welcoming, much nicer than some modern , cold feeling hotels. We made a reservation for our wedding anniversary meal wih... More

This hotel must of been so lovely in its time. Sadly 40 years on from then and literally nothing has changed. The décor, rooms breakfast are incredibly dated, and whilst this does give a certain charm it does not make up for the fact that you do feel like you are stepping into an episode of Faulty Towers. Upon checking... More

Hotel is tucked away in quiet village and is ideal for exploring the north norfolk coast. The hotel is old and rambling and in need of some TLC, however this should not put you off, it is nice to stay in a non corporate envrionment for a change. Host was friendly and the breakfasts were good. I would not have... More

We visited the Maltings Hotel, Weybourne recently for a weekend. On first approaching the hotel we thought it was closed, not a car in the car park and all in darkness. We approached the front door and entered a rather dimly lit reception area. The hotel dates back to the 1600's and is clean and comfortable, our bedroom was wonderful,... More

Lovely quaint little hotel/restaurant. Like stepping back in time. Lovely friendly hosts. Spotlessly clean, good food. What more can I say except that it was very good value for money. Well situated in the coast, with beautiful surrounding scenery and only a short walk to the beach.

If you are an overseas visitor wishing to have a classic English 'Faulty Towers' type experience this is the hotel for you. Decor probably hasn't changed since 1972 and it is packed full of quirky features. But the bed I had was comfortable and the breakfast was good so was fine for our brief visit.

Hotel was like a step back in time, all things good. Our room was huge with a comfortable 4 poster bed with nice crisp white sheets, everywhere was spotlessly clean. All the amenities, great breakfast and lovely hosts. Weybourne is a beautiful coastal village totally unspoilt. Well worth a visit.

We spent three nights at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room (No 6) was spacious and the four poster bed very clean and comfortable. The food both breakfast and in the evening was delicious and very generously portioned. The chef certainly knows his business and the menu, by and large, concentrates on doing simple dishes well.
