I feel bad giving this upmarket bed and breakfast an 'average' as in many ways it is excellent. We stayed for three nights in room 2, which has it's own small but perfect kitchen and two sash windows that overlook the High Street, great for people watching. The bathroom was a treat, with giant white towels, posh toiletries and a... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our rooms at our Pub and Steak house, The Kings Head Holt. What a lovely description of the ingredients that make up a Kings Head B&B Bedroom. We are only sorry that you felt we were let down by our 6ft 'zip & link' bed. After seeing your review... More

Used the Kings Head on three occasions during a recent trip. Would certainly stay there if we return.to Holt. Prices were reasonable and the food ordewred was good although the portions could be better.

Room 2. Apartment with good bed, linen, kitchen, Bathroom (shower over). Well sized bad. Noise from road after 6am, but you are in middle if town. My problem is that the staff both here and at Motherership - Byfords - need more training. When I complained 3 times re the poor wifi, all I got back was a simpering reply.... More

The previous reviewer mentioned free parking ... £5 for 24 hrs 2 mins away. You get what you pay for here and more.room 3 is quieter as it's over the snug, room 1 is bigger but above the bar and noisily shutting door. I would use the kings head again as the decor , bathrooms etc are fab but I... More

My wife and I stayed at the King's Head whilst up in Norfolk for a family wedding. We were in their no. 1 room which also had a small kitchen area should you wish to self cater during your stay. The room itself was almost as big as our London flat with a huge, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and the... More

This pub has 3 rooms 2 of which can be either B&B or self catering. We chose to stay on a self catering basis. On arrival we were given a friendly greeting and given helpful advice regarding parking which is difficult but not impossible if you are prepared to walk for a few minutes. The room is a reasonable size... More

We stayed with our son and family. Staff are very friendly and we found the rooms spacious and very tastefully decorated. We had a meal in the restaurant and again, could not fault it - altho it wasn't very warm but it was a very cold night and the restaurant has a lot of large glass windows. HOWEVER we were... More

Stopped here for a week with work, initial gripe with no parking, but the budgens carpark is free after six and cheap before that. Ate in Steak one night and had "the mother burger" struggled to finish it, very tasty and well cooked. Bar has a great selection of real ales. Room was comfy and everything looked brand new, my...
