Got name from Thursford website as we were booked into the show. Excellent stay, good clean room, good breakfast with plenty of choice. Pat and Peter very obliging with information of area and places to have evening meal. Would definitely stop again when in Norfold.

The Old Plough House is a fantastic B&B. It is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and the owners are very welcoming. The breakfasts are superb with lots of choice on offer. The bedrooms are full of character with new en-suite facilities. I would recommend this B&B to anyone and would award it 10 out of 10!

This is a great B&B. The rooms are very comfortable and cosy, with great ensuite, which is fully serviced. The breakfast menu is extensive to say the least, but perhaps a little pretentious. The local bread may be a genuine speciality, but I could see why it is "local". The white bread is still white after being toasted. However all... More

Visiting for the second time was as good as the first. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed excellent hospitality, a first rate room and delicious food. Can't think of anywhere more convenient for a holiday in this lovely area.

Set in a small Norfolk village, The Old Plough offers intimate and comfortable accommodation. The rooms are appointed to a very high standard and are spotlessly clean. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. The breakfasts are varied and excellent, ranging from traditional full English to various types of fish. We thoroughly recommend The Old Plough for a quiet and comfortable... More

This is our second time at the Old Plough House and as before we had a great time. The location is superb, close to Holt and various places on the coast with the house itself in a very quiet location. We stayed in the Ochre room which is a very comfortable room with a lovely en-suite. Breakfast was lovely (bacon... More

Excellent short break, nothing was too much trouble. Host made sure we had enough to eat and drink at breakfast, even offering to cook porridge! Wide range of food to choose from and lovely fresh fruit salad. The bathroom and bedroom were both scrupulously clean. A great idea to have the bathroom actually separate from the bedroom but still within... More

We stayed here for two nights and had the Blue room at the front of the house overlooking the small car parking area. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, likewise the bathroom. The location is great for exploring the coast and places such as Cley, Blakeney & Wells are easily accessible. I realise that I am at odds with other... More

This couple stated that their room was spacious and spotlessly clean and likewise their bathroom. Their breakfast was obviously perfectly okay otherwise they would have certainly complained. Our breakfast table is an antique mahogany table made for 8 settings so 6 can hardly be cramped. I do not "plonk" breakfasts in front of anybody - I carefully place them in... More
