if your expecting the Hilton - check into a Hilton. I stayed at this Hotel yesterday, and have got to say I was expecting the worst after reading the recent reviews. I have got to say, this is a very pleasant place to stay, the staff couldn't do any more to help - and the food in the restaurant in... More

Hotel is situated by the river and is of good 3 star standard. The bedroom was large and well kept with plenty of hanging space and drawers. Bed was a nice size with lovely duvet and pillows. There was a small lounge with a bar and a separate room with a pool table and seating. We only used the restaurant... More

Friendly and helpful hotel which was a pleasure to stay in. We were cycle touring and booked in in the late afternoon. The hotel staff made us welcome, sorted out secure storage for our bikes, and helped my wife with her cycle bags to our room. Our room was comfortable, clem and spacious. We had an evening meal as well... More

Ideal location for tourism, the river outside is picturesque, sadly this is where the pro's end. I cannot believe that this place is £90 a night, you can pay that for a night in a central London hotel! Our bath plug was blocked, our ceiling light didn't work, behind the bar they would not take a card payment for less... More

From the receptionist who welcomed us and showed us to our rooms, to the cleaners, everyone was friendly here. The building is an old one and so the rooms are not the largest and have squeaky boards, etc. However, it was a good stay. Our room overlooked the mill pond and the main road. However, even with only a single... More

This hotel could be a gold mine but it is sadly lacking in many areas! A visit from TV's Hotel Inspector might shock them into improving things. It is in a great spot for touring North Norfolk but the couples we spoke to were not impressed. Reception was poor, the public areas smelly and in need of decoration, food unimpressive... More

I was booked this hotel by work. I wouldn't recommend it unless your looking for basic. The corridor and rooms smell of damp and sweaty body odur, the rooms are dark and dreary, in much need of updating, and a thorough clean. There are other hotels a short drive away that are more shall i say comfortable.

Small, cramped, smelly room, my lady is allergic to smells and became itchy and unhappy. No window in room only skylight thus no view and room stuffy. No telephone, TV did not work (although receptionist fixed by total reprogramming). No remote control, room clock defective could not set morning alarm. Wanted a double bed room but given twin beds room.... More
