My fiancée and I had the pleasure of staying at the Abbey Farm B&B for a two night break for a friends wedding. Ever since first booking the wonderful host, Angie, had been in contact to help us plan our visit – happily recommending Taxi companies and generally doing anything she could to make our stay as nice as possible.... My husband and I have just had two wonderful nights staying at the beautiful Abbey Farm. We stayed in the lovely grey room and I can't describe fully the joy I felt waking early in the morning and watching the garden wake up with the rabbits, ducks and birds. It is truly beautiful. Angie is an excellent host and we... More

Our second stay at this lovely B&B. A warm welcome again by Angie. Rooms are perfect, clean and cosy. A breakfast that sets you up for the day. Angie advised us to try Southwold and it was just as described. Angie goes above and beyond with her guests and you couldn't ask for more. We can't wait for our next... More

We were delighted with our stay. The Grey Room was full of character and the setting was so peaceful. Angie could not have been a better hostess and the breakfasts were superb, served in a beautiful beamed Dining Room. Would not hesitate to return.

Stayed for one night, arriving at 3pm we were shown to our room, a nice sized room with a separate bathroom down the corridor. Bedroom and Bathroom were both beautifully designed, very comfortable and had everything you could want. The house is lovely, as is the grounds. I can imagine staying here in summer would be amazing. The sun rises... More

Peaceful, picturesque surroundings. Hostess was 100% friendly, welcoming, thought of everything down to the little quirky details throughout. Made my partner and I feel at home instantly, made a giant pot of tea on arrival and the hospitality continued until we sadly departed. Fully recommend this small, perfect retreat and the breakfast is something to die for!

My partner and I stayed here for three nights. On our arrival we were served tea and enjoyed the stillness of the garden. The room was to a lovely standard, with pilloes and duvet I melted into, lovely quality! Had a great range to choose from at breakfast every morning, with free range eggs. Angie was very helpful when we... More

We stayed here for two nights while visiting East Anglia. It was everything we wanted and more - old with bags of character yet beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Angie welcomed us with tea and cakes. Our bedroom (the yellow room) had it's own bathroom a few steps along the landing. This was not a problem as a curtain could... More

I booked Abbey Farm for a short break of three nights having found it by chance through Last Minute. It looked like the sort of place that would be away from noise and in the middle of nowhere as I like it and after reading other reviews, I thought it sounded idyllic. It is. So much so that the sat... More

This is just a wonderful place to stay. The 500 year old property is unique and charming. The decor is tasteful and sophisticated and every modern convenience is available. The location is beautiful and all this is topped by Angie the wonderful hostess who is just a delight. Nothing is too much trouble from tea and cake on the lawn... More
