For £60 for a double bed with a mattress you could feel every spring, and a pretty basic feel I was slightly disappointed. I was lucky enough to experience some good weather and therefore able to get out and about but could imagine if stuck inside it would get a little depressing. Strange choice of colour scheme in the hostel!... More

Friendly staff. Basic campsite although wifi access was convenient. Toilets where clean but would hate to see the useage when the site is full. Take good tent pegs. The ground is very hard. Good local shop for supplies.

This place is fab. My only criticism is that it can be hard to get in! Bookings require a minimum of 2 nights stay, and turning up without a booking is too high jeopardy. A perfect compromise would be some kind of concession for frequent visitors or locals who wanted to stay the odd single night and know they'd turn... More

I have wanted to stay here for years but I have a touring caravan and these are not permitted, so I booked up for a few nights in the Shepherds Hut. My son and I really enjoyed our stay. I loved the peace and quiet of being in the top corner Shepherds Hut but my son was a little lonely... More

First time at this site and first time glamping, was thoroughly enjoyed by me and my husband. The camp site is in a great location, walking distance from two lovely pubs and a few shops right outside, and a bus stop opposite the entrance which can be used for the coast hopper. We were very lucky with the weather and... More

Just got back from five nights camping. The camp site is ok but I seriously wonder how it manages when the site is busy with so few showers and toilets. I can only imagine that there are long queues. I cannot understand why the site skimps on such basic facilities. I'm sure that they make enough money. We arrived before... More

This was our second stay at Burnham Deepdale which is a lovely place. The first time we stayed was great, the campsite is very child friendly. However, I would never stay in one of the Tipis again as it was damp and leaked rain in. I am used to camping in traditional tents and would say the Tipis are a... More

Good experience. Yurt wasn't very clean though. We were in the dog friendly one. Upon arrival, lots of dust bunnies under beds and the table could have done with a wipe down. Several of the solar lights did not work. Slight leakage from rain but it was blowing a gale outside. Uncomfortable beds (tried all of them!)

Visited for a weekend bit apprehensive as no where to plug-in hairdryer but won over by site (peaceful and pretty) and fantastic location. Brilliant walks straight from site and have to try the rest of the tins at the White Horse! Will definitely be back

We stayed in one of the yurts on the wettest stormiest weekend Norfolk has had in months. So sadly did not experience the nicer side of camping. Such as being able to sit outside and admire the view. The yurts are very snug on a cold wet windy day. The wood burners do keep the place nice and warm. The... More
