We stayed in one of the tepee's over the New Year to celebrate our anniversary. It was a fantastic experience and was topped off by waking to snow on New Years Day. We've also camped here in the summer and are already booked in for next year. While the tepee's do have a wood burner be warned that the roof... more

This has to be one of the best sites around - I stay there frequently and cannot fault it. The staff are pleasant and go out of their way to assist - and the prices are very reasonable. But please remember that this is a camp site in a rural location - you will get a high number of people... more

We stayed in one of the private rooms in the hostel at Deepdale. The room was clean and the bathroom too. As other reviewers have stated the walls are a little thin, but this is a hostel in a converted barn and not a hotel. This is a great little spot and the cafe next door has wonderful breakfasts. more

We have just stayed at Deepdale. After several nights of noisy campsites, we decided to book one of the private rooms in the hostel as the website is very clear about its noise policy as are the notices in the introduction material and on posters around the hostel. It was clean, with good ensuite and we were looking forward to... more

Management response from

My appologies for your frustrations sir, and as the manager explained on the day, we were unable to move you to another room as the hostel was fully booked and no other private rooms were available. We do ask people to adhere to the noise policy we have at Deepdale but unfortunatley babies do cry. It is a fact of...

If you don't want a loud manufactured site then this place is perfect. We stayed for 3 nights in June 2009 and reluctantly moved to a different site further along the coast as Deepdale camping was fully booked for the remainder of our holiday. A lovely little site, only 3 showers but we didn't have to queue although it may... more

We camped here for two nights in early July and was pleased with the campsite. It was our first camping trip (as adults) so we were glad that they had clearly marked out pitches when we arrived. The area we pitched on was just the right size (not too big) and the scenery was stunning. There were a mixture of... more

Stayed here with a group of 9 other friends and found it to be really great value for money. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area was really great for a large group and the dorm style bedrooms upstairs were comfortable if basic. Two showers (Mira, quite powerful) and two toilets were just about enough for us. I think this... more

Just felt I had to write this given a few negative reviews that have been given. The reviews in question were clearly written by those more used to 5 star luxury than those accostamed to regual stays in youth hostels. The staff were freindly and the accomadation was faultless. They also had sky which ment that I dint fall behind... more

The toilet blockwas kept wonderfully clean and the dish racks on the washing up sinks is a wonderful touch. It is litle things like that that really... more

All in all one of the best sites I have ever stayed at, Toilet block clean tidy and adequate, as a regular camper I can tell you there are the usual amount of toliets and showers for this standard of site. Great staff, location perfect for walking and cycling and Brancaster beach is one of the best i have visited... more
