Although there is a minimum quality requirements for cleanliness, maintenance, hospitality, facilities and services, the courteous staff provide an informal yet competent service; however, staff are smartly and professionally presented. My bedroom had en suite with a good bed for two people and good quality furniture. more

Well, I stayed here with a friend because we were supposed to be checkin into the Norwich Central Travelodge, although the car park wasn't avaiable to we had to go to acle/great yarmouth instead. It was not nice! Although the staff seemed friendly enough, I got given a room key and walked down a prison like corridor that smelt very... more

We stayed in one of the new rooms at the back of the hotel & very nice it was too. Yes, it was basic, no toiletries, basic facilities- but it was spotlessly clean & comfortable, and very spacious. The bed was very comfortable, and most importantly, the room was quiet! I had a great night's sleep & was ready to... more

Stayed in one of the new rooms, directly facing the petrol station which is open all night. Best ask for a room at the back ..... The room was clean, but basic. i.e. double bed; instead of a bedside table there was a hole in the headboard on each side - narrow, shallow, didn't hold much and wasn't easy to... more

Just spent two nights here. The hotel looks as if it has recently been refurbished, the rooms were very basic but spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, good shower, flat screen tv and tea and coffee supplied. All the staff we met were polite and helpful. Only gripes with room were that curtains have been replaced by window blind that let in... more

Spent two nights at the Travelodge in Acle. There is a Little Chef across the spacious car park which offers reasonably priced breakfasts (and other meals). There is also a petrol station with shop very near by. The hotel itself has no eating facilities but does have a snack vending machine. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful, providing extra... more

We stayed in a new room which was very basic to say the least - adequate - but basic. Travelodge rooms have gone even more downmarket. There was a bed, a short shelf, a short 6 hangar rack (no wardrobe), a very small TV (not widescreen) high up on the wall so it hurt your neck & a tiny shower... more

There were some building works to extend the hotel, but overall minimal distruption. Rooms were decorated as you would expect, clean and staff friendly. Location great for local area and not far from train station/local village (5 min walk) more

We stayed here as a family of 3 visiting the nearby horse sanctuary Redwings. It's a very easy place to find and is set back off the main road, a good base for discovering Great Yarmouth. We had a side room which overlooked a grassy area and the rooms were all double glazed and nicely furnished with a sofa that... more
