Just spent two nights here. The hotel looks as if it has recently been refurbished, the rooms were very basic but spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, good shower, flat screen tv and tea and coffee supplied. All the staff we met were polite and helpful. Spent two nights at the Travelodge in Acle. There is a Little Chef across the spacious car park which offers reasonably priced breakfasts (and other meals). We stayed in a new room which was very basic to say the least - adequate - but basic. Travelodge rooms have gone even more downmarket. There was a bed, a short shelf, a short 6 hangar rack (no wardrobe), a very small TV (not widescreen) high up on the wall so it hurt your neck & a tiny shower... more

There were some building works to extend the hotel, but overall minimal distruption. Rooms were decorated as you would expect, clean and staff friendly. Location great for local area and not far from train station/local village (5 min walk) more

We spent one night here,all the usual facilites of the travelodge, kept clean and tidy, staff , very friendly. They are extending this lodge but it did not effect our stay more
