Three of us friends stayed here on 8th and 9th May 2009. We go away for breaks a few times a year and we enjoy each others' company enough to have a good time in most places, our baseline is: it has to be clean (bathrooms especially), the staff should be helpful and friendly, we should get a good night's... more

We stayed at Redworth Hall for a weekend break to celebrate our anniversay. The hotel was rather typical of its type; former country house with various extensions added over many years. The room was adequate although rather stingy on the lotions & potions which I hadn't brought with me as they usually provide them. The best thing about this place... more

My wife and I, together with our daughter, spent a weekend in a Deluxe room at Redworth Hall during May, 08 and were very impressed with every aspect of the hotel. I went back with my wife for a long weekend in March 09 and stayed in a Premium room. It bore no resemblance to the room we had previously... more

What a pity such a lovely venue has been allowed to become so tatty. We stayed there for two nights start of June 2009, The room was ok but not clean ,the windows were very dirty and the sills had cob webs and the bathroom had dirt pushed into the corners had not been cleaned aroung the taps and there... more

Spent the bank holiday with our 2 young grandchildren, 2.5 years & 10months, Family room was spacious, modern and well equiped for our stay. All staff were courtious and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thr fascilities were great, the grounds were brilliant, plenty of space for the grandchildren to run around safely. Even though the grandchildren were vocal... more

The original hall has been extended to the rear to provide more rooms and a leisure club. My room was situated at the back of the extension and the walk to the restaurant certainly sharpened my appetite each day. It was two days before I could confidently navigate the place only then to be wrongfooted when my route through the... more

We stayed at a Mal Maison hotel a few weeks after the Redworth and can honestly say that the room at the Barcelo Redworth was much better. Similar in decor (very trendy, with lots of plush materials and dark reds and browns, wall mounted flat screen TV etc) but more spacious and much better bathroom. This was our second visit... more

After seeing such a spread of review ratings I was somewhat concerned about what to expect. I needn't have worried. We stayed in one of the spa rooms in the new extended block. Not the biggest room but the bathroom with full body shower and spa bath was superb. Comfy bed, good chairs, not a great view but as the... more

Stayed here for a one night conference. I thought my room was excellent - it was in the more modern part of the hotel and was very modern in its decor - a huge bed with lots of comfy pillows. The bathroom was fantastic - jacuzzi bath and an ultra modern shower with lots of jets. My only complaint would... more
