We stayed here for two nights on a Great Little Breaks Offer costing £159. This included Dinner on the first night, a bottle of wine and two tickets to either Beamish or Bowes Museum. Due to the inclement weather we chose Bowes Museum! I requested a room close to reception to avoid a long walk and we were allocated 009... More

We stayed here for two nights on a voucher, which included a room upgrade, evening meal, bottle of wine and a day at Beamish Living Museum...what a bargain! The stay started very well with the happy, professional Receptionist and went up from there! The room was large, clean and with free bottled water. The shower unit design was excellent! On... More

We booked a bank holiday weekend trip to Beamish museum and a two night stay at Aston Hotel through a travel site. To keep things short & sweet every aspect our weekend was well catered for from the welcome, room, food and service. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was as it should be, the staff are friendly & helpful.... More

Last week my wife and spent two nights at the Aston Hotel. This was a Xmas Gift and we had quite a choice of venues. We chose the Aston for three reasons :---- 1) word of mouth recommendation 2) reasonable distance from our home 3) Trip Adviser reviews Turned out to be a good choice. The Trip Advisor reviews were... More

We visited the hotel as a possible venue for our daughter's naming ceremony. From the first moment when we met with the coordinator we were totally at ease and gained a confidence that grew with every contact. We had a function for 50 adults and 10 children and nothing was a trouble to the team. Hot and cold buffets excellent... More

Chose this hotel on line based on deal available and it proved to be an excellent choice. Room was large, clean and comfortable with all the faciliities you would require. All the staff without exception were friendly, helpful and polite, and clearly the hotel is very well managed. Restaurant food was very good and service here matched elsewhere. Would be... More

Got a good deal with dinner first night with wine, 2 night B&B and with tickets to Beamish, which we never actually received in the end. Room was spacious but didn't sleep well first night as room too hot and like a sauna. Air con unit had broken so receptionist kindly sorted us a fan out next day. Didn't want... More

Just got back from a 2 night stay at this superb value Hotel. Travelled extensively over the years and this Hotel must have the friendliest Staff and most considerate service anywhere in the UK. They were all fantastic and massively added to the enjoyment of our short break. It is also so easy to find, being just off junction 59... More
