Best Sunday roast i have had in a long while, I had the roast pork and my wife had the roast beef, both meals were absolutely fantastic. Good friendly service and a excellent selection of cask ales which were very tasty!!

Had stayed here last year on a bike trip and enjoyed the quality accommodation but didn't eat here. Passing by today I rectified that and had lunch.... it was a seriously good decision! Had the homemade burger which was by some distance the best plate of burger, chips n garnish that I've ever had.... The burger was a mountainous piece... More

I stayed here for 3 nights in August and have to say that I was low away by the food. The staff were fantastic and the owner Neil made me feel very welcome!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Oh and on top of that it's dog friendly which is a bonus!!

I can't recommend the food enough!! They have a fabulous menu and the service is excellent. We eat out regularly and can't find anywhere that beats the quality of the Kings. Neil and Ann are very friendly and great hosts. The staff are extremely attentive.

Stayed here last night & if you want to visit a really friendly village pub - this is it. Nice atmosphere in the pub where many locals seem to be in the bar but not clique at all. Food was excellent and portions great. Owner could not have been friendlier. As I mentioned worth a visit & I'll definitely be... More

Got an excellent two night deal in this hotel. The owner could not have been more helpful. Enormous breakfast supplied each day. Terrific value for money. Mr Price happy to spend time with the guests in a social setting and get involved in conversations. Made to feel very welcome. Happily recommend this to anyone and will return.

My partner, our dog and myself called in for a quick drink. We ended up staying for hours. Very friendly staff good beer and excellent food, homemade and cooked to order so can take a while but large portions and we'll worth the wait. This was our first visit but not our last. We were made to feel as though... More

I stayed for two nights as a break on my trip to Scotland. Staff and regulars at the bar were friendly. Food was excellent and the host Neil was very knowledgable about the area. Room very comfortable too.

I run a busy scuba school and we often come over to use Capernwray which is near by. I searched for ages to find a suitable B&B and luckily we found the Kings Arms! It is without doubt the best B&B that we have ever stayed at (and we have stayed at a few) Neil and Anne make this place... More
