Stopped at the place on a bus trip around the Ring of Kerry. Had the typical Irish Stew and a pint of Guinness and sat at a table with a great view of the ocean. The ladies providing the service all acted like they wanted to be somewhere else and then to have your meal almost dropped on the table... More

We had booked 2 nights at the Scarriff Inn because it is said to have the “best view in Ireland.”. While it might be the “Best view” it was definitely the “worse reception.” We had booked and confirmed. our 2 day stay. On the day we were to arrive we called to say that we would be late due to... Stop to photograph the views by all means. As far as the Inn is concerned, do not bother, overpriced souvenirs, terrible food and an assembly line of coach tours (whether the coach parties like it or not)

Two rooms were booked through emails and phone calls well in advance and we were told there would be dinner available when we arrived - lack of communication should have warned us off. As we were travelling, we were delayed and phoned to tell them we would be late, and inquired about eating only to be find out that the... More

We were three and was touring ring of Kerry without booking. We ended our search for stay at Scarriff inn. View from hotel is Amazing. Host Nadia was helpful and welcoming us. The room is small but clean. We had our break-fast and it was good. When we left the place we felt it was worth. My friend he visited... More

We pre booked this accommodation via an agent as no facility available to book direct. On finally receiving a direct email address we contacted them to reserve a table for dinner and prebook a trip to Skellig Michael as advertised but received no response. Our fears that the lack of communication was a bad Omen where realised when we arrived... More

Definitely was underwhelmed by the overall quality of the accommodation. I had assumed that the overall standard of B&B in Ireland had improved but the Scarriff Inn was a rude awakening. Small, very dated rooms (they were clean) with a pervading aroma of fried food throughout the establishment wasn't a very welcoming experience. The staff were friendly and the breakfast,... More

Sadly this restaurant was a huge disappointment and the food was small and average at best. The service was rude and it was clearly profiting from the uncompetitive nature of having ring of Kerry bus tours stopping there. We went separately from any bus tour and were extremely disappointed by the lack of value for money. The view was beautiful... More

My wife and I spent 4 nights here as a base for exploring the Ring of Kerry. We wondered what we had booked when we first arrived: you access the rooms down this dark hallway under the pub. The towels were small and threadbare and the sidetable lampshades were cracked. But the view through the large window was stunning. We... More

A comfortable bed and breakfast with what must be one of the best views on the island. Breakfast was delicious. Don't recommend other meals, but Blind Piper and O'Carroll's and the town of Waterville are a short drive. The rooms were nice and the view is worth every penny.
