The Tinion Hotel is perfectly positioned in Tinos Town at one end of the seafront just off the harbour side. It has a much grander feel than every other hotel we've stayed in during our trip around The Cyclades yet is very reasonably priced. Costas was very welcoming and friendly and extremely helpful in giving us some tips about where... More

I recently returned to the island of Tinos for a trekking/dancing seminar and once again we were accommodated at Hotel Tinion. During my stay last year I was really impressed and my impressions have not changed. Located in a quiet area in close proximity to the port, shops, tavernas and beach this hotel, approximately 100 years' old, is kept in... More

The building of the hotel has an unparalleled charm. My room was outdated and quite basic. The TV set is so old. Bathroom was small and let's not address the shower... WiFi was working good, nevertheless. Cleanliness was OK too. Breakfast variety was OK -nothing special, though. What really differentiates this hotel is the architectural charm of the building and... In May I participated in a trekking/dancing seminar on Tinos and the first pleasant surprise was the charming Tinion Hotel, in which we were accommodated. Being approximately100 years old it is simple and elegant and even in its renovated state, retains the style of the good old days with high ceilings, chandeliers and antique furniture. It is owned and managed... More

Slightly outdated but charming hotel, lovely breakfast terrace. Exellent service and spotless rooms, even down to the boiled eggs at breakfast, labelled as boiled for 4, 6 or 8 minutes! Our room was on the street which got pretty noisy with passing traffic and noisy conversations in the street - we could have closed the window but then we would... More

A unique hotel, with very friendly and pofessional owners. Although not luxurious has its own classical ambience. Tall ceilings, beautifully colored, and decorated with old furnitures. If you aske for something different try it.

We arrived late at night from the ferry and found this beautiful old building, nicely restored. It was lit up and very welcoming. The man who owns the hotel greeted is and instantly we knew it was the place we would stay. The breakfast was abundant and so was the hospitality. This man clearly loves what he does and it... More

We stayed in room 20 in Oct 2013. Hotel has a great location, just tucked back from the busy port front street, but still with views of the port (and the sunset) from the balcony. I describe the hotel as 'faded grandeur' - built in the 20's, lots of antique furniture, and plenty of space in the common areas. Good... More

Just came back from Thinion hotel, in Tinos, and I am enchanted!!! This place is a jewel! A classy old building, which is renovated and has all the modern amenities, but still keeping its marvellous spirit! People who renovated this building did a great job! The furniture is also renovated and has that antique look! Very clean and comfortable. Really... More
