In May I participated in a trekking/dancing seminar on Tinos and the first pleasant surprise was the charming Tinion Hotel, in which we were accommodated. Being approximately100 years old it is simple and elegant and even in its renovated state, retains the style of the good old days with high ceilings, chandeliers and antique furniture. It is owned and managed... More

Slightly outdated but charming hotel, lovely breakfast terrace. Exellent service and spotless rooms, even down to the boiled eggs at breakfast, labelled as boiled for 4, 6 or 8 minutes! Our room was on the street which got pretty noisy with passing traffic and noisy conversations in the street - we could have closed the window but then we would... More

A unique hotel, with very friendly and pofessional owners. Although not luxurious has its own classical ambience. Tall ceilings, beautifully colored, and decorated with old furnitures. If you aske for something different try it.

We arrived late at night from the ferry and found this beautiful old building, nicely restored. It was lit up and very welcoming. The man who owns the hotel greeted is and instantly we knew it was the place we would stay. The breakfast was abundant and so was the hospitality. This man clearly loves what he does and it... More

We stayed in room 20 in Oct 2013. Hotel has a great location, just tucked back from the busy port front street, but still with views of the port (and the sunset) from the balcony. I describe the hotel as 'faded grandeur' - built in the 20's, lots of antique furniture, and plenty of space in the common areas. Good... More

Just came back from Thinion hotel, in Tinos, and I am enchanted!!! This place is a jewel! A classy old building, which is renovated and has all the modern amenities, but still keeping its marvellous spirit! People who renovated this building did a great job! The furniture is also renovated and has that antique look! Very clean and comfortable. Really... More

Tinion is in a more than 100 years old building. The ceilings are high, the entrance smells of great old times. The rooms are very good, but not modern in any way. Our room had a large terrace with a great view over the old port. Breakfast was served in a lovely old room with high ceilings (must be 5... More

We stayed at Tinion Hotel 16th June 2012 We were on our way from Andros to Naxos or was it Paros and needed to change ferries but due to the weather the high speed ferries were not sailing, so we went looking for a hotel and happened on Tinion Hotel, we got 2 rooms for us and the 2 girls... More

Spent a very pleasant 4 nights here. Well run efficient hotel, good value car hire available and transport provided to and from the ferry dock. The hotel is convenient for Tinos town but in a very quiet position. Breakfast was relaxed and served on the front terrace. The hotel has a rather old world charm, upper floor rooms have lovely...
