A perfect location for us. Just a short walk down to the hectic Hersonissos (if you really wanted to go there). Lovely clean modern and spacious 1-bed apartment. first impressions were great, set in a village location of piskopiano, loads of steps down to reception and me being a gentleman carried the bags.....big mistake!!! then had to lug them all the way back up!!! staff mainly ok, bit grumpy at times but the owner was a really nice guy, the olivia restaurant that is owned by the same... more

We loved our stay in Crete. The Asterias Village apartments were clean and very nice. The only downside being the air conditioning. We paid extra to have air conditioning, but found that it wasn't very good and hardly cooled the room. The staff were friendly enough, but their English wasn't that great, which caused a bit of confusion at times.... more

First time to Crete and we were expecting very basic accom as is the norm in Greece but these surpassed our expectations! 1 bedroom apartment was spacious and spotless, pool & all public areas couldnt be faulted, although felt like doing a workout everytime you wanted to leave the complex either being faced with series of steps or steep hill.... more

This was our first time in Crete and what a wonderful experience and relaxing holiday we had. The party consisted of my wife, daughter and me. The accommodation comprised of a double bed upstairs with TV and a single downstairs, little kitchen with fridge, kettle, 2 ring cooker, pots & pans etc. Toilet, sink, shower and always had hot water.... more

A nightmare from the moment we arrived the room was dirty there was used contraception behind the bed and the sheets can only be described as well soiled. The staff were surly when we asked to be moved and were moved to an equally disturbing location, we never even stayed a night in this place fearing for our health! more
