Hotel has 4 starts but it was 2 or 3- Rooms are old with old equipment. Portion of rooms (one wing) in hotel is located against the star beach, where loud music plays every day to 8PM and three times per week to 12AM. Select rooms in hotel in site of Heraklio city. If you like quiet holidays and would... more

Just returned from a great 2 week break at Eri Beach/Village. We stayed in a 4th floor room with a fantastic sea view on the corner in the beach part of the hotel complex - rooms are a little older there than the village rooms but the sea views make up for it - not on holiday to spend your... more

I booked this hotel last year ( for 2 adults and 2 children aged 8 & 5) ,then read the reviews and spent 9 months flapping!! I needn't have because it was fine. Most of the bad reviews moaned about "All the Germans"! Actually most people were Russian, about 80% infact . The rest were a mixture of German (perhaps... more

(To catch up - we booked our first trip last minute through a travel agent that I was in at the time paying for another holiday - it only cost a couple of hundred pounds, we arrived late at night that time and it... more

We had booked to stay in the Eri Palace, but were told when we got there that it was closed for renovations until July 2008, and so we were taken to the sister hotel, the Eri Beach. Eri Beach honoured our booking and we were given, what we considered to be the best 2 bed sea-view appartment in the complex.... more

I went to Eri Beach in September and it was a great holiday. We had a sea view room and the view was indeed incredible. We loved Eri Beach. The food is not 5 stars, but it's good, I liked it and we didn't have to eat outside. The same with the drinks, not best quality, but ok. That means... more

Having booked the holiday and then come across the reviews in Trip Advisor, I was very worried when I arrived at the hotel. A word of advice - don't listen to the moaners!!! We were greeted by polite and friendly reception staff and saw none of the rudeness that other reviewers have talked about - I can only assume they... more
