The title says it all. This hotel has become our home away from home. As one of the reviewers mentioned, its the service that keeps us coming back. Yes, the hotel rooms are spacious, gorgeous views (we always stay in the bungalows) and clean. And yes, the breakfast and dinner buffets are wonderfully done (many food options and great quality).... The king Minos palace is the absolute best place for a family vacation on the island of Crete. This was my third stay at the hotel. The last time I was there in 2010, I was so impressed with my visit that I decided to rebook, which I typically never do because I like to explore other properties. We have... More

My boyfriend and I visited the King Minos palace hotel on our first ever trip to Crete. Whilst you expect Greek hotels to be small, this one is quite the opposite. Lovely clean room with a garden view although we originally booked a sea view but this was the fault of the holiday company and not the hotel. Despite the... More

Just got back from our third trip to Crete and we stayed at the King Minos again and we're not disappointed! We keep going back for the family friendly atmosphere and activities. We stayed on Crete for 12 days and had a great time. I will say that august on Crete is crowded and we will probably not go back... More

Just spent two weeks with a party of seven people ages ranging from 13-72 , we had three rooms 608-610 which were sea view rooms(bungalows) on the separate part of the complex. Points are : Clean rooms and spotless hotel. All staff are really helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Pool area is great and towels cannot be reserved... More

Stayed here for a week in mid-July with my wife. Had a room with see view in the main building, near the pool garden. The staff was almost overwhelmingly nice, the food was varied and plenty (we had half board), the room was quiet big and comfy, the AC very effective, the pool really great. The few drawbacks were the... More

Arrived on 22nd June to stay for a week with my partner, being both 19 we were excited for our first holiday together, was a little disappointed with this hotel during our stay. The hotel itself is spacious and clean, our room we were also pleased with, was clean and tidy on arrival and also had a balcony over looking... More

We stayed for 4 nights in July 2014. I made reservations in April. We were promised a 4 bedroom family room, since it was my wife and 2 young children. Cost was 150 euros a night which included breakfast and dinner. When we arrived, we did have a large room, with 4 single beds in a sort of galley long... More
