If ever one wants to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this is the the place where he or she should go. The perfect place to unwind and leave it to Mother Nature to soothe your senses. The views of the valley and Kanchenjunga are simply spectacular. The chirping of the different birds is music... It was fantastic trip with mind boggling view of Kanchenjunga. For food lovers, this resort is the best place. We were surprised when they served “posto bata” (poppy seeds paste) in lunch. The cook named “Prem” and the service boy “Kiran” are excellent in their job. Kiran arranged Camp fire at every night, but that is excluding tariff. We stayed... More

The Neora Valley Jungle Camp is not for the loose-jointed. It's a rough ride getting there (the last hour or so) but once there you will find yourself gasping in amazement. The jungle surrounding the camp brings an incredible range of birds literally to your window and even if you can't spot the tiny warblers your ears will thank you... More

Dear Guest, Many thanks for your review and appreciation. We gratefully acknowledge this. We apologize if you had to encounter any difficulty concerning the menu planning by the kitchen crew. The main Chef was seriously injured in a road accident recently and had to be hospitalized. His absence may have caused lack of proper menu planning. We shall certainly compensate... More

We went on a long drive from Bagdogra airport to this camp. The last one hour of the drive was extremely bumpy. We start getting a real feel of the jungle and villages but for elders / people with back problems and those who would not strain to see wildlife, this is not the place coz the access to camp... We were five people and we stayed at Neora Valley Jungle Camp for three nights. The drive from Bagdogra was uncomfortably bumbpy on large stretches of the road. There are no toilets that we saw except at one tea stall cum house. The drive to Kolakham took us almost 5 hours. There are five cottages at the Neora Valley Jungle... More

Birdwatching trip 25-28 Feb 2015. Drove to NVJC from Patna via Siliguri & Kalimpong in Innova. Walked mainly & drove around including to Changey Falls. Quality, friendliness & eco-consciousness of NJVC hospitality superb! K'junga revealed itself on last day! Electricity rarely went; running hot & cold water, solid sleep awakening to chirping of birds. Prem, Chef extraordinaire rustled up delicious... More

Had a memorable holiday at this pristine hill resort. Enjoyed the smell of plants, earth, pine cones, the kiss of cold breeze, fog and mist on the face, the chirping of birds and the snow peaks on a clear day. Stayed there for 5 nights and 6 days. The cottages are comfortable and the hospitality of the staff are unforgettable.... More
