Good place to stay. Once you stepin they will take care of everything. Staff are very helpful, on request they can arrange car for sightseeing. Rooms are bit small but neat and clean. 24 hrs running hot water is available.

This hotel has decent and cheap rooms, no charm but clean. The air heater may be needed during the winter and is chargeable for a small extra. it is well located in the city center, with lot of options for diner and shopping around. The taxi stand and bazar/market are at walkable distance.

The hotel is situated in Laitumkhrah which is very pleasant locality. Avoid to stay near police bazar, this is very congested and heavy traffic jam area. The hotel staff were very helpful. Room is very good. If travel with family then select the room where they provide king or queen size bed. Food is also good and hygienic. They provided... More

This hotel has all the basics covered but it fails to provide anything beyond the very minimal. If you are not expecting to walk into a star hotel then you will be amply satisfied. Nice cozy beds and blankets. The TV was small, but if you are in Shillong then why would you watch TV!

A nice and clean place to stay. The redtsurant offers a vatiety of food and very deliciously prepared ones. The portion is remarkable big and we enjoyed our food very much. The property needs a renovation though in the main reception area as it gives a gloomy idea though the rooms are ckean enough.

We booked hotel for our stay in 2 parts for 4 nights. It was Durga Puja season hence it helped to book in advance. The staff is very helpful specially the lady who handles reception. Hotel is located in a quiet part of shillong. I would suggest travelers to stay away from the noise of PP Bazaar and this hotel... More

This was February 2012 not 14, our first trip to the North East, this hotel lived up to our all our expectations and how! amazing food, clean rooms, and the road where the hotel is situated is by far the most swanky place to be in, The hotel manager, cant recall his name, i think Michael , was a great... Yalana is a very good hotel for budget travellers. I had quite a good experience here. Its location, tops the chart. Situated in Laitumkhra, its only a Rs. 20/head on a shared ride away from the Police Bazaar. Police Bazaar can be a nightmare if one is looking for quieter locales and peace of mind. Laitumkhra is mostly populated by... More

This hotel is nothing flash - but it is clean and comfortable. Be prepared to pay for a heater if you are there in the dry season and its colder. We stayed in the deluxe room. It has a lovely bathroom but the hot water is limited. Vast array of TV channels. Room service available at no extra charge. Good... More
