Stayed here for one night, this was not enough! A glorious building within gorgeous grounds. Inside it was like stepping into a grand residence, beautiful furniture, photographs, memorabilia, comfort and opulence. Dinner served on the lawn as was breakfast, the hotel lit up as a grand backdrop. An excellent, comfortable and charming room, my one complaint would have to be... More

Judges Court was everything I wanted it to be. We stayed here for two nights. It was so peaceful. we stayed in the annex which was another house very grand. Many objects and lots of family photographs everywhere. we were served afternoon tea on the lawn and also had evening drinks served on the lawn. Evening meal both nights was... More

I chose my description of "splendid" carefully as it perfectly describes how good our two-night stay was, but also implies how the hotel is something right out of the British Raj. All the other review of this place are right ... the hotel has been caringly maintained by the owner. The rooms are spacious, and the furniture in them is... More

We had an overnight stop at the Judges Court in Pragpur en route to Shimla. What a haven to relax & unwind after a long car trip. The room was large & well furnished with comfortable beds & sofas & the staff were welcoming & helpful. We walked to the market in Pragpur & it had varied & interesting shops... More

Sadly we only had one night here as part of a tour, but what a treat it was. I had the Judges bedroom which was very grand and had a lovely veranda outside where one could sit when the sun got too hot. The service was great, the food was good and the entertainment was ........amusing! Free wifi too, hooray.

This was an overnight stop on 21 March staying in a first floor room called Dhauladhar. After 6+ hours on the road from Shimla the hotel was really welcomed end to the journey. Preliminaries were painless and helped by a fruit juice and a cold towel and it was up the stairs through a lounge area and then onto an... More

We are located in an estate comprising about 12 acres of farm and orchard in the hilly countryside of Himachal Pradesh where a friendly dog adds to the ambiance and alerts security of wildlife that may be about. More

We were in India for a month on our seventh visit so we have a reasonable idea as to what to expect. On arrival at Judges Court we were told that we had been allocated a room in an annexe approx. 300m from the hotel. It was pouring with rain and they had insufficient umbrellas for both of us. Nevertheless... More

We offer apologies for the inconvenience to the guest. However, the Agent had been informed that should it decided to place the Group with us then some guests could be accommodated only in a 300 year old portion of our property that was located in the heart of the Heritage Zone of the village about 5 minutes walk from the... Wonderful Hotel - room was fantastic, large and very clean. staff could not do enough for us. Food was served either outside or in a separate garden facing extension. Gardens were beautiful and a real pleasure to be in. Food was the best we had on our trip! Highly recommended! if you can't stay, at least pop in for a... More

A quick trip to the time when Britain reigned. All gentile, leisurely, and a quality unparalleled. Cocktails and tea on the lawns, bagpipes at sunset, crisp linen and china. No need for tie and tux, but what the heck. Ask for the Judge's room or Rudyard Kipling's.

this is a property which is hidden and away from the tourist circuit. If you are visiting all the mata temples in chintpurni, jwalaji and others in the area, it is one of the best places to stay as there aren't too many good places around. It is a nice old touch feeling to the property and the food is... More
