Hotel Crags is a quaint hotel stuck in the Colonial era. It is a charming and quiet place exactly what one would look for in a hill station. Food was average but reasonably priced. Joginder, the hotel manager was very helpful and the staff were very courteous. The hotel overlooks the valley and has a big sit-out which was an... More

I have been to Dalhousie a couple of times and stayed both the time in this hotel. This is hotel is located at a little distance from Gandhi chowk (Main market area in Dalhousie), therefore this is not one of popular hotels but the rooms are good. Rooms are very spacious but is not maintained well. It offers a great... More

Came here late February, so town was pretty abandoned - rooms are good value for what you get - fairly large room with bathroom for a couple hundred rupees. Food is decent, and views from the verandah are spectacular. Manager goes out of his way to accommodate you - I had to leave the next morning (very early) to get... More

I don't mind the budget aspect of Crags - the new shift to marble-floored hotel rooms that all look the same, and could be anywhere in the world (except for the showers which wet the whole bathroom floor) leave me cold. We prefer rooms with character, and that is what you get at Crags. The location is excellent - a... More

Dalhousie is a strange tourist destination. Old, under-developed, in some ways neglected and attracting only a few western tourists and, then, only for a few days. Yet, it is has some of the most stunning Himalayan Range views of all the hill-stations. My wife and I have spent some 2 to 3 months each year at Hotel Crags. It's an... More

I stayed one week at this lovely, typical hill station hotel. Peaceful, serene and in a lovely setting. Logendra and his brother Ganesh gave excellent sevice - nothing was a problem for them. I highly recommend this little gem..... Ms Wynne Clift
