Quaint old Victorian and the beds are small and the bathrooms small but the rest is to die for. Quiet, comfortable and great breakfasts. Add into that the owner Betsy and it is absolutely fantastic. It was quiet even during Reunion across the street at Kenyon College. Get your reservations quick and tell Betsy that "Bill sent you"!

My husband and I spent a week in the Carriage House of the Gambier House B & B, and it was roomy and wonderful. It was as though we had our own apartment, and yet Betsy was at hand for anything we wanted or needed. Her breakfasts are delicious, and I can't imagine finding a better place to stay. Betsy,... Betsy, the Innkeeper is delightful and welcoming. The house is beautiful with lots of sitting areas and right on campus for people visiting students or looking at Kenyon College. The room rates are very affordable and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Betsy served warm pear compote and blueberry pancakes the morning of my stay. Hard to get a room... More

I stayed at the Gambier House in late August. I had the Victorian Room, which was very pretty and comfortable. Gambier is a very small, safe town and I arrived to find a note on the door welcoming me inside and letting me know where to find my room key. Betsy's breakfast the next morning was superb, and I enjoyed... More

My wife, daughter, and I recently stayed at Gambier House while on a college trip to Ohio, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. As another reviewer noted, this is significantly less expensive than the other options in Gambier, but we never felt that we were making any sacrifice. In fact, the Gambier House was the perfect spot for us. It was... More

Revisited Gambier recently and stayed in the Gambier House for the first time. A great bed and breakfast that's significantly cheaper than the other options in Gambier. While cheaper it doesn't sacrifice quality or comfort. Beds in the Green Room were outstanding ( I actually want to ask what kind they were) and the room was cozy. Only downside is... More

We've been to Gambier several times but we have never been able to stay in town before. What a treat to stay in the center of town and to be in such a comfortable place. The room was charming, spacious and well decorated. Breakfasts were delicious and the conversation was congenial. Though there were other guests, we were felt encroached... More

We recently visited Kenyon College with our high school junior. While the school is WAY out of our budget, this lovely B&B was not! We had lovely accommodations and a scrumptious breakfast. The only downer was that the bed was a VERY small queen-size bed. We did Ok, but you should be aware of that. All in all, a lovely... More

Visiting from the UK for my god-daughters Kenyon graduation I was charmed by the warmth of Betsy's welcome and delighted by the varied breakfasts. The room was comfortable and the central location excellent. Highly recommended>
