We made a last minute reservation at this hotel. When we checked in we found that there was no elevator to the second floor...ok no big deal but as we were carting our bags up to the second floor we noticed how dirty the carpet was. This was our first indication of the filth of this hotel. We got to... More

Shocked this is in the choice family of hotels. Shabby, dirty. Room looked like sheets were used and lots of dust. Front desk said sheets were not slept on, could tell by looking at them. Check other hotels in area first! Best Western nice.

The Quality Inn Lorain lacks in quality. The people that work there were very nice. The front desk agent that checked us in at 11:45pm was very friendly. The housekeepers were extremely pleasant to talk with the next morning. The breakfast area was nice with a well-stocked selection. However, the facilities are not up to standard. The hallways are dark... More

Quality/Comfort organization should be ashamed to brand this building a "Quality" Inn. Very rundown building, directly behind a new big beautiful Country Inn & Suites. If I was with my wife, one look at this place & we would have moved on elsewhere. All I needed was an inexpensive sleep & a breakfast. I could/should have stayed at the newer/cleaner... More

This inn is terrible. Here is a short list of the problems I encountered in my room: cracked window panes, broken window treatments, missing smoke detector, cracked and dirty lampshades, soiled furniture, and used soap leftover from previous guest. To her credit, the desk manager took down the complaint and gave me $10 off the rate. But I asked the... More

This is another nicely maintained Quality Inn with everything you should expect from this brand. Breakfast includes hot items and regular features like cereal and pastry. The hotel is conveniently located off the highways (I-90 and I-80), but is reasonably quiet and safe. With all the services, you should love the price too.

Location was fine because it was off the highway and it was convenient for us since we were on our way to Pennsylvania. But the whole hotel smells like cigarettes. It needs many improvements. Furniture is old, the tub floods(one of my pet peeves), the carpet throughout the hotel is stained and ripped. The breakfast was not good. It wasn't... More

It's not a bad hotel, or a bad location, but it just isn't quite there, and it would take so very little to make it so. Hotel is setup in 3 wings, with one being non-smoking. Not a bad thing, if all the fire doors to each wing wasn't propped open - fire hazard sure, but it allowed the smokey... More

We had no reservation for a night of a cross country trip. Front desk was prompt, friendly, and when hearing about our journey, signed us up for Choice hotels program so we would be encouraged to use other Choice properties to get our free nights. Fresh popped popcorn in the evening. Older property for sure, but nothing dirty or unsafe.... More
