Marin and Allison are warm, friendly hosts at this comfortable B&B in a home dating back to 1812 (if I remember the date correctly). The antiques, old-fashioned decor, and country kitchen match the lovely hardwood floors and homey feeling. The evening we arrived, we, Marin, Allison, and six other guests gathered around the kitchen table, laughing and joking while the... More

The experience was great and the hosts were excellent. The Samurai and the beauty Queen made our stay perfect, Thank you.I wanted something special for my wife's 60th birthday. She is from Ohio and she wanted t see her sister. I looked at hotels/motels in the Zanesville area but couldn't decide. I happened to look at the Dresden area and... More

We are so glad you made those last minute reservations! And we were happy that your sister-in-law and her husband decided to stay at The Pines as well. Having all of you sitting around the fireplace reminiscing added a lot of warmth to this snowy winter. I am so glad that your wife had a nice 60th birthday, and we... More

Alli and Marin were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and went well above what other innkeeper's would normally do to make guests happy. The Pine's grounds are beautiful, even in the dead of winter, and the entire place provided a quaint turn of the century charm. All the while still providing proper, modern amenities to keep guests happy. Both my girlfriend and... More

Thank you for this wonderful review! Reading it makes us feel as if we are accomplishing what we want to offer as a guest experience. But you two made it easy. We enjoyed laughing over funny stories late into the night. And I understand what you mean about the meals that Marin makes. His cooking makes me want to eat... More

My mom was having cataract surgery and I was spending the time following surgery with her. I decided to treat her to a stay at The Pines for the evening. It was one of the best decisions I've made! We were booked into an upstairs room, but upon hearing mom was having issues with depth perception, Marin moved us to... More

Thank you for trusting us to take care of your mom for her next surgery as well. I'm glad that we were able to provide a peaceful place for her recuperation. It was nice sitting by the fire visiting and watching Jeopardy. I'm glad Wheel of Fortune came on after to lift my self-esteem after struggling with the Jeopardy clues! More

What a beautiful place, with charming hosts, and wonderful food. This is a delightful getaway in the heart of Dresden, fabulous if you are into baskets, or even the wineries of the region. We are so glad that you got a chance to enjoy some local wineries. We have 5 within 30 minutes of The Pines and are a proud member of the Appalachian Wine Trail. There are Central Ohio wines to suit all tastes, and it's easy and fun to find the perfect bottle to enjoy with your 3-course candlelight dinner, or... More

Thank you! We have found that when we have guests that have been travelling for a long time, or are taking part in a sporting event, find that The Ivy, with its laundry and kitchen facilities, is an ideal place for them to stay. And if they join us at The Pines for breakfast and dinner, they have the best... More

My Grandma, my Aunt and myself stayed in the Blue Jay Room at The Pines this past weekend. We were in town to do some shopping in Dresden and at the Longaberger Homestead. The Pines is the perfect location for that! It's just blocks from the shops in Dresden and just a few minutes drive to the Homestead. Alli and... More
