Allison & Marin are two of the greatest hostess and host around. This is our third, or maybe fourth visit to "The Pines of Dresden". We enjoy the serenity and the visits with Allie & Marin so much that we look for excuses to travel their way, and of course spen a night or two, or three. We highly recommend... More

My sister and I spent a couple of days in Dresden and really enjoyed our stay at the Pines! The evening dessert and the gourmet breakfast were wonderfully yummy and beautifully served. Marin and Alli are gracious, welcoming hosts, and The Bluebird Room is charming and equally welcoming. The weather was a bit wet, so we didn't get to enjoy... More

We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay. I am glad that you got to spend a lot of time on the screen porch. I can't think of a better place to watch a summer storm. You were such delightful guests and we hope to see you again soon. More

Marin & Allison prepared a delicious mothers day dinner for my wife and I, my brother, and mother. The peaceful and relaxing atmosphere is our ideal home away from home whenever we come to visit. Looking forward to our next stay!

We feel honored to have the opportunity to prepare a special Mother's Day dinner for your mom. Doing special things like that is one of our favorite perks of having a B&B. More

Wonderful B&B with lovely outdoor seating around a fire! Marin and Allison were wonderful hosts and the food was terrific! Dinner on the enclosed porch by candlelight was amazing! I have never felt so welcome at a Bed and Breakfast!

Thank you for the review! We are so glad that you enjoyed the outdoor fire and dinner on the screen porch. You'll have to come back again soon for another dinner and fire. But we might have to find another guest to play the guitar! More

In addition to a very spacious and beautiful room, and an outstandingly good breakfast, my husband and I just enjoyed a remarkably well-cooked and delicious dinner at this inn. Afterwards Allison brought us tea in beautiful tea set; when I remarked the delicacy of the cups she said 'yes, it was my grandmother's, it is Limoges china' -- and it... More

Thank you for your kind words. I really enjoy sharing my treasures with guests who appreciate them. I know it would make my Grandot so happy to know that you enjoyed having tea served with her tea set. More

Attention to detail to make guests welcome and comfortable is evident. The hosts make special occasions even more special. The meals are creative and a pleasure to eat. The rooms are comfortable and each is unique. The grounds and overall atmosphere are quiet and relaxing.

I have been visiting Dresden for year primarily visiting the Longaberger Homestead and the shops in Dresden. I'm not sure how I missed this amazing B&B. It's a well kept secret I'm sure because the people who know about it want to make sure it's available when they want to stay there. Lol. Marin and Allison are amazing hosts and... More

Thank you so much! We are also happy that you finally found us! Marin's Chocolate Pot de Creme is definitely a favorite of the guests (and of mine.) If you need to satisfy a craving, he is very sweet about sharing his recipe. We will make sure we serve it again on your next visit. More

Marin and Allison are warm, friendly hosts at this comfortable B&B in a home dating back to 1812 (if I remember the date correctly). The antiques, old-fashioned decor, and country kitchen match the lovely hardwood floors and homey feeling. The evening we arrived, we, Marin, Allison, and six other guests gathered around the kitchen table, laughing and joking while the... More

We are so glad you made those last minute reservations! And we were happy that your sister-in-law and her husband decided to stay at The Pines as well. Having all of you sitting around the fireplace reminiscing added a lot of warmth to this snowy winter. I am so glad that your wife had a nice 60th birthday, and we... More

Alli and Marin were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and went well above what other innkeeper's would normally do to make guests happy. The Pine's grounds are beautiful, even in the dead of winter, and the entire place provided a quaint turn of the century charm. All the while still providing proper, modern amenities to keep guests happy. Both my girlfriend and... More

Thank you for this wonderful review! Reading it makes us feel as if we are accomplishing what we want to offer as a guest experience. But you two made it easy. We enjoyed laughing over funny stories late into the night. And I understand what you mean about the meals that Marin makes. His cooking makes me want to eat... More
