Mascara stains on the pillowcases. Enough said. They had been laundered (I think!), but ick. The woman at the front desk was great and brought us extra pillows and pillowcases, but by that point I was a little grossed out. The pool area left a bit to be desired as well. This hotel was wonderful! The room cost was more than reasonable, the room was spacious, the air conditioning not so noisy, and the staff friendly and helpful. I suffered a bee sting getting a newspaper out of the vending machine just outside one of the entrances, in itself very unpleasant, but the manager got me something to put on it... more
