Upon arrival, it is a real chore to park and unload due to the construction. Then, you currently have to either drive or have an attendant drive your vehicle to a remote parking garage about two blocks away. Once inside, the lobby is great. The rooms are very nice, but there were some problems. Our room had a drain that... more

One of our favorite trips is coming back to Ohio State to visit. This hotel is perfect for that. The exact ambiance for alumni, but not unwelcoming if you are from Michigan. There is a hotel up the street that booms fight songs in the lobby, and guests jeer if you are not wearing scarlet and gray, so this was... more

I am staying at the Blackwell Hotel for a business conference, my meetings ended early, at 12 Noon, and I was hoping to get a nap in before doing some work with a colleague later in the afternoon, but they have ongoing construction on several floors, including a loud and annoying drill and hammer literally just above my room. Furthermore,... more

I spent a week at the Blackwell and enjoyed it very much. The desk space was ample, free Internet, free printing in the Business office, lots of light in the rooms. The room felt convenient and comfortable. Bathrobe in room. The furniture was nice. I liked the room service food quite a bit (nice salmon dishes), although some of the... more

Traveling to Columbus on business and spent a few nights at the Blackwell. It's a really excellent hotel - well maintained, nice updates - it's a very sophisticated spot. I can rave about everything - beautiful lobby, nice rooms, comfy beds, beautiful bathrooms, warm comforters - nice big windows. The staff was very friendly and generous. My one complaint and... more

The hotel was everything the reviews said it would be. All the staff at the hotel were wonderful. They were always accomodating with everything we asked for. Anytime I said thank you, I always heard "my pleasure" and it showed that they meant it. My husband and I went to an expo for the weekend and they brought us to... more

Great hotel, especially for one that is associated with a college campus. I was there for business, and this is the hotel that they booked for me. Amenities were nice, staff was young (I think they are college students), friendly, and helpful. Had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, which is standard hotel fare. Room was spacious, neat, and clean. You... more

They picked me up for free from the airport, I did not have to wait to check in and entered one of the best, cleanest most beautiful hotel rooms EVER! Everything about it was wonderful, the bed was comfortable, they had great amenities, it had highspeed internet. I hooked up my portable dvd player to the front of the tv... more

We stayed here on a Saturday night for a benefit dinner next door. With my AAA discount, it was $139 plus tax for a king room. The room was truly more comparable to a $239 room. It was very clean and in good condition. The furniture, etc. was very contemporary and good quality. Our bed was comfortable and the hotel... more
