The employees at the Ritz Carlton are all very professional, helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was old but spotless. It takes 2 elevators to get to your room. One from the street level (or 3rd level of the attached mall) that takes you up to the level 6 check-in desk. No wait as there were 3 elevators. The next... More

I booked my stay(s) through Total Rewards. Absolutely everything went well both times. What I learned the during the first stay was valet parking was free to customers staying the night so I didn't need the parking structures in the area. If your going to gamble at Horseshoe casino, this is the place to stay with the staff being wonderful... More

Most everything at this hotel is superb -- great EVERYTHING and VERY PROFESSIONAL and POLITE STAFF. Just two VERY SMALL constructive criticisms: First, the thermostat in the rooms seem to be motion activated; hence if there is no movement in the room the thermostat will default to a more economical setting. Since I prefer my room very cool, in the... More

I made the mistake of making reservations through Total Rewards at the Horseshoe casino. I reserved a king and received a 2 queen along with no help from the front desk. Calling total rewards was also a waste of my time. I find it odd when a casino owns the hotel it can't accommodate the guest room preferences. I stayed... More

Rooms are roomy, up to date furnishings. Very comfortable and peaceful stay. Easy access to Tower City and Casino and Quicken Loans Arena. Friendly staff, rooms are pricey. Check your amenities before you reserve a room. Good hotel for business, solo or couples.

We stayed here the weekend of the NCAA basketball tournament. We went to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The hotel is perfectly situated for the baseball stadium and basketball arena and a short drive to Hall of Fame. Hotel staff are wonderful and prepared for our arrival. Rooms are very well appointed and generously sized. Fitness center... More

Our 2nd time here was even better than the 1st. Surprisiedly informed at desk that were elevated to the club level which included all of the extra amenities. Concierge staff was excellent and very informative. Room was in perfect order. Only downfall of this property is access. Elevator situation is time-consuming. Sleep comfort and noise level were perfect. An enjoyable... More

First off, I can't speak to the value since we were comped by the new Horseshoe casino in the Tower City complex. I suspect this is what an elegant traditional downtown hotel is supposed to be- doormen, very polished desk attendants, marble floors, classy (expensive) restaurant, etc. The room itself was more than adequate- very clean, comfortable beds, nice toiletries,... My husband and I stayed here for one night in March. The location is perfect - you are within minutes of the casino, great restaurants and the entertainment district. From the minute we got there to the minute we checked out, the staff was amazing. They were polite, friendly and efficient. The room was huge, clean and well-appointed. My husband... More

Below Ritz standards in my opinion. Club. level was no different than being on a coincerge floor. Lacked the "special" that makes Ritz unique, Staff very helpful when flight cancelled. Due to extreme weather I stayed in hotel . Doubtful I would stay here again and I love Ritz but not worth money.
