Okay, so here it goes: my employer decided that it would be a brilliant idea to host two months of training in this hotel instead of one of our established training sites. This hotel markets itself as a historical property and the center of social life in Cleveland. Well, this is half true. It is a historical property and lovely... More

I recently stayed here for a bachelor party weekend. We were hoping to impress the groom, so the group of us booked a Large King Jacuzzi Suite, and it did not disappoint. The room was nearly 1200 sq ft., which is bigger than my apartment. In addition to a private bedroom with a king-sized bed, we had an enormous living... More

A strange and frankly outdated take on the big luxury hotel thing. Shocking parking if you DIY, grubby entryways, indifferent staff and rooms that were likely awesome in the mid 80's. I would not have been staggered to find jack Nicholson typing in the lobby, the place definitely has a "shining" feel to it, which in sone ways was it's... More

First, let me say I didn't pay for my room. This was a corporate meeting I had to attend and my company paid the bill. However, the sign on the door had my room listed at $350 a night. If that WAS the price, this hotel is ridiculously over-priced. If not, then my apologies (and how about taking down the... More

Five nights in a deluxe king room with fridge on the 14th floor and down the hall access to the club lounge was a mixed bag. The club lounge and those who served breakfast and evening snacks were great. A comfy bed and a quiet air conditioner were appreciated. However, the desk phone was a self starter. It activated the... I checked in to the Renaissance Cleveland, what a lousy property, it should lose its flag. I thought the Renaissance brand meant close to a JW, but this one clearly is not. Hotel stinks, musty, carpet is warn, AC units are disgusting (moldy and leaks rusty water), furniture is old and broken (yes, broken). They changed my room twice, and... More

The Renaissance Cleveland Hotel, located in downtown Cleveland is a lovely historic hotel that seems to be lagging a bit behind when it comes to modern amenities - however, the very patient and professional staff do their best to make the stay as positive an experience as they can. First of all, the location is great and very easy to... More

We had a great time in Cleveland. The hotel was in a great location. We could walk to downtown bar area. It was also right near all the sport stadiums. We were able to walk to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the watefront.

We have stayed at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel several times. It is located 2 blocks from Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Browns Stadium , and 3 blocks from Quicken Arena, and 3 blocks from Progessive Field. There is also an inclosed walkway to Quicken Arena and Progressive Field. The Hotel is beautiful. The Bar is cozy, and warm.... More

Prior to booking this hotel, I read through many TA reviews and noted that many guests at the Renaissance were placed in small rooms with an insufficient number of beds. This concerned me but hotel rooms were scarce in Cleveland for my weekend of travel so I reserved a room for a family of four through Orbitz. Of course, we... More
