This hotel has a great location in downtown Cleveland. It is a very convenient train ride from airport and within walking distance to everything downtown as well as shuttle access. The hotel is clean, the rooms are nice and very comfortable. The housekeeping staff and restaurant/bar staff significantly contributed to the cleanliness and ambiance of this beautiful hotel. I have... More

I had a great night at this hotel It's very beautiful and comfortable. It has the charm of the past with modern appointments. It's also in an extremely convenient location. You can take the subway from the airport to this hotel without ever going outside! I recommend this place.

This is an older hotel but inside the rooms it has all the latest like flat screen TV's. Check in was quick and friendly. Instead of a concierge desk they have a "Navigator" desk which is a good name. They helped direct me to all the local restaurants and entertainment in walking distance to the hotel. It is right next... More

This is a "historic" hotel located in downtown Cleveland. If you're headed here for a Cavs or Indians game, it's quite convenient. Or if you're going to stay primarily downtown and don't want to rent a car, it's very convenient as you can take the Red Line train directly from the airport to the hotel, which connects to a mall... We attended the Cleveland International Film Fest and decided to stay in Cleveland this year. We picked the Renaissance due to its convenient location to the festival. The hotel is classic...beautiful....but not what I expected in regards to experience. Sure, its very convenient to the film fest, 4th street, the sporting arenas, etc. But it was the service we received... More

When you walk into this hotel you feel as if your going back in time but the rooms and building are up to date and clean. This hotel was built in 1918 and is just magical to see the craftsmanship and architecture it really takes your breath away and you feel as if you are there in that time period.... More

Nice decor, rooms are small but up to date. Very clean and cozy. Beds are comfortable. However because its a renovated (historical landmark) hotel, you can hear people talking in halls and doors closing. No microwave nor fridge, in rooms, which are pricey. Conveniently located in heart of downtown Cleveland. Accessible to Tower City and Horseshoe Casino, without going outside.

Historic hotel that had been remodeled, but not totally upgraded. Solid club level, but a the heating system was older than me. Centralized parking, the down town is still very rough - make sure to walk in pairs. Check out Lola's after work - only a $5 cab ride from the hotel

This is a older iconic hotel in downtown Cleveland. While they are gone to considerable lengths to upgrade and renovate the hotel and rooms, it manages to retain that old world charm. Lobby and facilities are modern and upscale. If you are looking to play at the casino, you can walk directly into it from the adjoining lobby. I have... More

I've spent a lot of time in Cleveland on business, and the Renaissance Cleveland is always my first choice. It's a well maintained, historic property, which I especially appreciate. The rooms are nicely furnished and comfy. Marriott has just gone to free wi fi in all rooms, also good. The staff are splendid. Nice lobby bar. Restaurant pricey but superb.... More
