As we were checking in (after a 700 mile drive) we were informed that the dining area and also the entire arcade would be unavailable from about 5PM until midnight because of a wedding and would this be a problem? Not understanding the layout and the fact that our bedroom would be with close and noisy proximity to the wedding... More

This hotel has seen better days. The furniture in our room had been heavily used. I did not think that people spent enough time in a hotel room chair to ever make their upholstery look as worn as ours was! Our room was on the eighth floor. The clerk at the front desk didn't say anything when we got in... More

After college hunting in rural Ohio, we ended our trip at the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame, needed a place to stay and opted for a promotional rate at this Hyatt. My teenager and I were blown away by the gorgeous design of this 1890 Merch Mart building that save the design of "offices" now guest rooms faced out... More

The customer service at this hotel is not worthy of the Hyatt name. The hotel was unwilling to honor the room type reservation that we made despite the fact that we made the reservation the night before and confirmed the room type with the hotel directly. The management of this hotel is apparently more interested in hosting events in their... More

I was really surprised to find this Hyatt to be so disappointing. It looks really nice from the web pictures, I expected much more. The room does NOT have the following: coffee maker, ice bucket, adequate night stand space (one stand for two double beds), or decent size tv (ours was 25", not a flat screen and too far away... What a beautiful hotel. The staff was wonderful. The room we received was small, for a business traveler. So they gave us a beautiful, spacious room.

PROS: Large room; roomy bathroom; upgraded toiletries; in-room safe; full-length mirror in bathroom; nice lobby bar; minimal noise from hall and surrounding rooms; plenty of restaurant options right out the front door (Euclid street side). CONS: Room decor was really "blah" -- the colors, the old, square furniture (as opposed to "old world charm" or anything even remotely luxe); lighting... More

The room has nothing - no coffeemaker, no drinking glasses/cups, no breakfast order (front desk later sent one in). TVs are old, too. Beds are uncomfortable: I could not fall asleep for almost an hour (I am a frequent business traveler and I never, ever, had issues with hotel beds before). Also breakfast can only be ordered by time intervals... More

Michelle at the front desk was wonderful in correcting a problem we had with our first room (a horrible odor permeated the room). Our second room was fine. It was clean and comfortable. The valet is worth the $22, and the valet workers were very pleasant. Location is super for an Indians or Cavs game. The strip where Lola's and... More

Stayed in this hotel several times now. Great location within walking distance of anything downtown. Neat architecture. The new online reservation system lets you choose to be upgraded to a better room (for a price) if they have them available when you check in. For example, we got upgraded to one of the gigantic king rooms overlooking E 4th St.
