This bed and breakfast is furnished creativly with beautifrul antiques. You will not be disappointed in the gourmet breakfast. This innkeeper apparently loves his profession. The atmosphere is very relaxed and quiet. There are also many fabulous restaurants in area.

Stay in a lovingly restored home filled with beautiful antiques near many west side attractions. Richard is a friendly host who prepares tasty breakfasts and is generous with snacks and tea. His artwork is featured in the home, which he restored from ground up, inside and out. A lovely place to stay! Parking lot is a plus!

We have stayed at Stone Gables many times over the past several years and returned again this June. It remains the best B&B I've stayed at. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully furnished as is the downstairs living and dining rooms. Richard is the most welcoming host, with lots of information on restaurants and things to do. Breakfasts are always... More

We stayed at in the Blue Room at this historic B&B for one night during the Labor Day Holiday weekend. We enjoyed our room very much, which had a comfortable king sized bed, flat screen TV, and large modernized bathroom with a walk-in shower. The room and private bathroom were both very clean and inviting, and the owner, Richard, was... More

I stayed 8 nights at Stone Gables, a few days ago. I'd stay there again. I was on the 3rd floor in the North Suite, which had a lot of space. I mostly biked to where I needed to be across the river in the center of Cleveland and found the bike and bus access to be good here. There... More

We came up for an anniversary get away and found a beautifully restored house just a couple miles from the downtown area. Very comfortable room and a delicious breakfast the next day. I would definitely recommend!

This Gothic Victorian was warm and welcoming after a harrowing drive through a blizzard. We were escorted to a large bedroom on the second floor which opened to a common sitting area. The innkeeper was charming and knew much about the gentrifying neighborhood and great local restaurants. He was generous with his time and makes delicious French toast and eggs... More

Very comfortable rooms and beds. My husband and I stayed in the blue room which had a small common sitting room--clean and well appointed. Richard was very relaxed, helpful and personable. His breakfast the next morning was wonderful. Coffee and tea and snacks were available at any time. Richard recommended Crop, which was walking distance (0.7 mi) and delicious for... More

I stayed at the Stone Gables back in August 2013 (and I will be back there this weekend), and it was great! I stayed in the Red Room with the jet tub and bay window... Richard discounted my rate since I had to catch an early flight back and wouldn't be able to partake of his breakfast. I mean, who... More
