The Hungry Detective and friends rolled into town for the Tragically Hip show and the first stop was the hostel to gather. Friendly reception from Grace as we arrived and showed us our six bunk private room. CLEAN...CLEAN...CLEAN!!! Super kitchen with gas stove top...all the amenities of fully stocked kitchen with spices for that late night meal!!! I would let... More

When I arrived, there was a stack of clean linens and towels waiting for me, as well as my room key. I was in one of the shared rooms with 8 bunk beds. Coming in and out with key cards can be a bit loud, so be wary of sleeping travellers if you are in a shared room. I checked... More

I stayed there before and had a wonderful and relaxing stay. I had planned to stay there again but do to an illness, I was unable to make it to hostel (scheduled 9/15). They not only called me but when I spoke to a rep, he was so pleasant and understanding. After weeks at looking for the charge for a... More

This was my first experience staying at a hostel in the US and I was incredibly impressed. We booked a private room with two queen beds, and it was both adorable and large. There were shared bathrooms, but they were clean, bright and large. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location could not be beat, within walking distance... More

I need to say ... First off that this was my first Hostel experience! Rooms were clean, nice fresh linen provided, extra towels as needed. A large open kitchen and lounge room area with lots of comfortable space to relax. Kitchen hygiene would be greatly improved by a dish washer and a large supply of clean tea towels. It is... More

Thank you for choosing The Cleveland Hostel, we greatly appreciate your business and enjoyed your group. We are sorry that the hostel did not meet your expectations. Our large modern kitchen does not have a dishwasher (which is not common in hostels) but we do have dish soap, towels, and a large 3 compartment sink with drying racks. There are... More

A very clean and comfortable hostel, which was well priced. Our only complaint would be the very noisy air conditioning. I am not sure if all the rooms are noisy but ours was, so avoid room 35 if you can. Would stay there again but would make sure the room was quieter. The roof top was lovely. We never had... More

It was a nice stay. I reserved a room with a full bed on the first floor, which is an accessible room. The room is comfortable, bathroom is large. I didn't used the kitchen, but it seemed to be really nice and spacious. The rooftop has a nice view of the city. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Stay here! We reserved a room with two bunk beds and a full bed. The bathrooms were in the hall and shared by the whole floor. Everything was clean and organized. We checked in late and picked up sheets on our way in from the front. Took the stairs (no elevator) to the third floor and nested for the night.... More

This "hostel" is 2 years old, modern, clean, quiet, staffed with great people, has private rooms with and without baths, has parking, is surrounded with great restaurants and brew pubs and a block from the west-side market and all sorts of public transportation.

A nice pleasant resting place in Cleveland. Considering it is a hostel you know what your going to get. Here, it was clean, well appointed, and close to downtown and located directly in Ohio City -a nice neighborhood. Everything worked here and the staff was helpful and have nice manners.
