The hotel is located on the East side of Cleveland. You need a car to get there. Beautiful old building. The rooms are big; modern furniture and nice bathrooms. I stayed for a night for a wedding in the hotel. Excellent catering and great location for celebrations!

The Hotel is not like any other in the chain. Besides the large, older building structure... it has a modern decor appearance. A couple of concerns... the pillows are so loosely packed that you need several to keep your head off the bed. They charge you $19/day for parking.

The hotel is very nice and has good amenities. I've stayed here three times and I only had one experience where the hotel didn't fully meet my expectations. On one stays the hotels floor was very dirty but the rest of the room was clean.

I recently stayed here for a wedding. Staff was friendly. In particular, James (the shuttle driver) and Julia (bartender) were extremely friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved this hotel and modern touches.I am a hotel snob and I loved it! The staff, the restaurant were all top notch. I just had surgery at University and the shuttle took me to the doorstep! Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

This hotel has two redeeming qualities: the staff's friendliness and its shuttle service to the Cleveland Clinic.
