Located close to Brown's stadium, Science Center, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. 5 minute walk to Tower City area and Theater District. Beds were comfortable although the pillows lacked any stuffing whatsoever. The pool was badly in need of a vaccuuming. When you jumped in, you could literally see the dirt billow up in a cloud from where it... More

Those who eat as late as 9AM, are subjected to food that has been sitting around, on a week day. The eggs were dry and chewy, for example. The woman at the desk when we checked in, did not say any greeting, such as "hello!", rather she said, "Name?". Otherwise, it was a great experience. Conveniently located by the R&R... More

Quiet. Top notch staff. Nice beds. Soft. Did I mention quiet? It is a decent distance from tower city area. They do have shuttles, but I prefer to walk. With the inclement weather that Cleveland is known for, walking is a dicey proposition. The location is right next to the rock and roll hall of fame. I would certainly stay... More

The room was clean and well laid-out. The heater was noisy, and it intermittently spewed out cold rather than warm air. The parking garage was filled at the start of check-in time. By nine the garage had emptied, so I presume most of the cars belonged to Browns fans. Check in was slow. Service in the bar was inattentive. The... More

When you check into a Double Tree you get a warm cookie and corporate culture thatadvertises if something is wrong, the hotel will make it right. They did. The hotel was full because of a Cleveland Browns game (one of the closest hotels to the stadium, easy walk). Unfortunately the garage was full and only a few spots were available... More

This is a great remodeled, clean hotel. However, its only good if you need to be in the area. There aren't any restaurants super close on a cold night. They do have a shuttle, but I have never taken it so I don't know how far it goes. The rooms are super clean, but the elevators are awful. Apparently, it... More

The hotel was in the perfect location for my trip to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. And the staff was extremely nice. But the quality of the room, bed, bathrooms, carpets on the floor hallways and other facilities were not great. Did not seem fresh.

I would like to say that the overall stay in the hotel was a great one. The only drawback was the slow elevators(took the stairs) and the fact that the person who answered the phone didn't have a clue as to where or when you could catch a shuttle to anything or anywhere around town. Also there is no shuttle... More

Very nice hotel by the water. Minor issues with room cleaning (no coffee the second morning and air conditioning turned on during a snow storm), but the amenities and room were all very comfortable and convenient for my trip to a conference at the convention center. Restaurant/bar was very welcome during the snow storm and had a decent burger for... More

You have got to love the Doubletree cookies! That's a big perk of staying here. That's not the only one. I enjoyed the fact that I could park my own car in a ramp that I could enter and exit as I pleased. I also enjoyed the fact that they laid out slippers and a robe for me, though I... More
