If you are like me, a frequent traveler, and do not like the sterile feeling of a traditional hotel, this is the place for you. Robin, the proprietor, could not have been a more congenial host. My first day here he drove me into downtown Cleveland and along the way gave me the history of the neighborhood. The following morning... More

The Brownstone Inn is great - the proprietor, Robin, makes delicious breakfasts and keeps guests informed of everything going on in Cleveland. The rooms are incredibly reasonable and comfortable. The Brownstone is near everything - the lake, Cleveland Clinic, the Art Museum, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I never made it inside. I arrived at 9:30 pm after calling ahead the night before about a late arrival. The man who answered was quite rude, telling me that the normal check in time was 3-5 pm, but that they would "make an exception and wait up". However, no one answered the door after 3 rings and there was... More

Spent two nights at the Brownstone Inn in early May. The house is a heritage property full of beautiful antiques and art work. My boyfriend and I stayed in the large ensuite room which was furnished beautifully and with absolutely all the comforts (lovely bedding, robes, plush towels, etc). The owner, Robin, was a great host with lots of recommendations... More

The brownstone is beautiful and unique. It is not often you can stay someplace with so much character and history. The Inn-keeper is amazing. He helped us find great places to eat and explore while in Cleveland. His breakfasts were delicious. We had a great time at the breakfast table talking and sharing stories with our new friends that were... More

We have stayed in several motels in the Cleveland area while visiting friends and enjoying this vastly underrated city. The Brownstone combines several attributes that make it our favorite so far. The price is very reasonable considering how close it is to downtown, and its easy drive to Little Italy, University Circle, and downtown. The owner (Robyn?) is a personable... More

This was our 3rd stay at the Brownstone Inn and it most definitely will not be our last. My fiancé and I frequent Downtown Cleveland a few times a year and we have chosen to stay at the Brownstone Inn each time. We have made the Brownstone Inn our home away from home whenever we just need a lil getaway... More

I have lost count of the number of times I have stayed at the Brownstone Inn but every time it is just like coming home to my other home. All the way from New Zealand and I am exhausted by the time I arrive. Coffee is always ready...and good coffee. Robin is his usual lovely self. Such a sweet man... More

Cleveland has riches. Robin Yates and his Brownstone Inn provide a unique and rich Cleveland history over breakfast with a nice mix of b&b like minded travelers. Step back in history through the blue doors. There is nothing perfunctory. Cleveland history is alive and thriving through Robin's stories. 5 star hospitality .... Comfortable bed and pillows. We'll be back. Cleveland... More

We have stayed here multiple times and just yesterday booked our next stay for a trip to Cleveland in October. Everything is great about this fantastic historic landmark! Love the hospitality, the ambiance, the comfy beds and clean amenities- Robin makes a fantastic breakfast to boot! We always look forward to our Cleveland visits when we know we can stay... More
