While the Cleveland area as a whole leaves alot to be desired, this hotel was wonderful! It is within walking distance of the Rock Hall and Jacobs Field and a short drive from the Cleveland Metropark Zoo. The hotel has a decent breakfast, a computer with Internet Access and a pleasant front desk staff. If you want a moderate priced... more

Stayed here one night while in town to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The hotel is very comfortable and fairly modern and updated. Highly recommend the valet parking over the self park option - while worth the extra $3. Easy walking distance to the stadium/arena, surrounding restaurants and bars - could walk to the Hall, but we... more

We take a bi-annual sports trip to Cleveland to see our local teams play a bitter rival. We've stayed at the Hampton Inn on two of these occassions over the past two years with obvious reason! Our stays have been wonderful from the service to the sleep. The staff is always friendly upon check-in and during the stay. Check-in and... more

We got this room for $50-60 through Hotwire and it was well worth it. It's in a great location if you're looking for a place to stay before/after a game at Progressive Field (Indians, formerly Jacobs Field) or "the Q" (Quickens Loans Arena - where the Cavs play). The Cleveland downtown in going through a renewal and the Hampton Inn... more

Stayed here one night on business, and was a tad underwhelmed. I've stayed in about 25 Hampton Inns nationwide, but basically know what to expect. The room was a bit dark and dated, though otherwise clean. The amenities in the bathroom were on the skimpy side, no lotion or mouthwash, e.g. Check-in was fast and friendly. However, I was not... more

We have been staying at the Hampton for several years and always found it to be convenient, clean, and reasonably priced. The last time we stayed, in December, we found they had installed new pillowtop beds and upgraded the linens - they were really nice and something I didn't expect to see at this price level. The continental breakfast is... more

We had an excellent room. Clean, big, and the bed was wonderful. The hotel was well lit and was secure. It was my husband's 50th birthday, so I called and Jeff the manager arranged for a gift basket at the last minute to be placed in his room..and he went above and beyond doing so. From the front desk staff... more

We stayed one night at the Hampton Inn in downtown Cleveland. The hotel is easy to find. It is on the left side of the street. If you arrive on the right, just keep going down straight for 5 or so blocks, and you will come to a cul-de-sac (on the waterfront - by the Brown's stadium & the Rock... more

Hit Cleveland for a weekend Yankees/Indians series- Read earlier reviews and decided to try the Hampton Inn on E 9th St.- It was a good choice- While they did raise the rates because of the weekend in question, the room was very clean and comfortable, the front desk staff was very courteous and helpful, and the location (easy walking distance... more

We stayed at the Hampton Inn during the NCAA Women's Final 4 in April and thought it was the perfect place. The location is excellent - easily reached from the highway (we drove in), about midway between the lakefront attractions (Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, football stadium) and the other sports venues (Quicken Arena, baseball stadium -forgive me for... more
