The facility is adjacent to a golf course. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with balconies for enjoying the outside and countryside while having a fireplace to relax by on the inside. It is adjacent to the Tavern which had an excellent dinner and dessert menu. Very Friendly service. Several Amish communities within a few minute ride.

What a great small-town inn and taverne. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and a small kitchenette, and also feature a large bathroom. They seem to keep the rooms very clean too! Food is great at the restaurant, although a bit pricey. There's so much to do in the area, including nearby walking trails and a beautiful downtown square,... More

Chardon is my home town, and whenever we are in the area, we always stay at Bass Lake Inn. It has an excellent location--close to everything in town. It is a very comfortable suite, convenient for us, and my husband loves sitting on the balcony and looking out over the pond. We had a few minor issues during our stay... More

Room was excellent-large and well appointed and the balcony very enjoyable, looking out over the pond. Inn is right across the street from a lovely bike path for jogging or riding. Internet stopped working but was fixed reasonably quickly. Because it has a B&B ambiance I was very disappointed in the breakfast. My two dinners at the restaurant were excellent... More

We come home to Chardon 3-4 times every year and we are most comfortable when we are able to stay at Bass Lake Inn. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The Taverne serves delicious meals. On this visit we hosted a luncheon for 85 friends and family. The managers helped with the planning and the staff did... More

This worked as an overnight stay heading north to see covered bridges. The staff was very friendly as we were a walk in - lucky to get their last room available. Seems like they are booked for the rest of the summer. The room we had was #9 - a second level with a balcony over looking a pond. Very... More

Back here again. Stayed two nights in June.We had a second floor room this time and it was great. Sat on the balcony with a drink from the bar and watched the baby ducks etc.The rooms are large, very clean and beds are great. The breakfast is fine with cereal, sweet roll, juice etc. Only one negative comment, the outside... More

We had a very romantic weekend at Bass Lake in April. I discovered it through a Living Social deal and thought it would be the perfect weekend getaway for us. It certainly did not disappoint. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. We didn't use the fireplace but it certainly added to the atmosphere. The only complaint (and it... More

We statyed at the Bass Lake Taverne and Inn on a golf package with three other couples. The Inn was updated, roomy, very clean, and convenient to the Chardon Lakes Golf Course. The Taverne restaurant was casual and well appointed with a slightly upscale menu. We enjoyed the outdoor dining on a pleasant summer evening. We had various items off... More
