Although the pool and hub tub were "down" for maintenance & the floor we were staying on (8th) renovation was just being completed, if you have any reason to stay in downtown Canton, any at all, this hotel must be your destination. The staff was great, breakfast was excellent, rooms were spectacular, attached parking car with 2nd floor skywalk &... More

I absolutely loved staying here. We got an amazing price and it came with a free buffet breakfast (eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, and then the usual offerings at a continental breakfast) where someone waits on you but you pay for drinks and tip. You feel this is upscale with their dinner plates that have their name on it. We... More

Let's start out with a sign on the front door saying guns are not welcome, even lawful carrying citizens. Of course you don't find out until you get there because nothing is said about it on their website. Next is mold in the bathroom and a sharp ceramic floor tile that my daughter cut her foot on. Manager was told... More

this hotel has gotten some bad reviews in the past, but I just stayed here for 2 nights on business and was very pleasantly surprised. Now, couple of notes, the hotel is undergoing renovations. This resulted in there being no ice machines on the 2nd floor (which happen to be where I was staying) and also a strong scent of... More

It was fun to see the hallway tribute to Pres McKinley, like something that stopped in time with the decor and historic references. We had fun looking at the pictures, grand piano and ballroom while quoting 'The Shining.' At the same time, the rooms were updated and services were handled in a contemporary professional manner. Will definitely try to score... More

Front desk was responsive to our needs but fell very short. No towels in the room but a shower mat for the shower. We called the front desk and they brought us towels but they could not provide wash clothes because " it's been a difficult day for house keeping". Pricelines evaluation of a 3.5 star is a bit of... We recently stayed at the McKinley Grand for a visit to Ohio to attend a wedding. We were late making reservations due to my work schedule and were unable to stay at the hotel recommended by the wedding event. I booked this through Priceline and was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was when we arrived. Yes, it is an... More

A mostly positive experience , check in could have gone a little faster but once we got through the line of bridesmaids checking in our check in went without a hitch. Our room was fine and the rest of hotel appeared to be clean , I do agree with another reviewer that the pool area needs some attention but we... More

my son and i were in town for baseball tournament...easy to find, clean rooms, very friendly staff. my son loved the beds, lol...check-in took awhile, but bonus was that we got free breakfast for our 2 day stay(which i wasn't expecting). All this for an awesome price on Hotwire! I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is old and celabrates President Mckinley, I understand that but, the Pool area is a mess, the rooms are outdated. The pool area needs some attention, first there is a lot of rust on the bottom of pool , second the hot tub was out of order and empty. The surrounding area of the pool needs painted and... More
